Chillamp Angora IV custom

Low manufactured in France, providing details of the model Angora IV Chillbass.
Some modifications in the design of the body and pickguard. Especially, a combination of microphones and magical novel.

Specifically, I have wanted to associate one kind mudbucker Gibson EBO (micro Cusrtis Novak) with a precision micro vintage recuperated on another bass (I think this is an old di marzio).

The settings are classics: Vol / Vol Tone / Tone switch 3 positions: set, both, bridge.

UTILIZATION

Everything is perfectly done, the handle is a wonder that CHillbass has adapted to my requests, access to good treble, the bass is fairly light, does not fall short, it's perfect.

SOUNDS

So for her, it's very personal, but for me it's just ideal.

The mudbucker in the neck position, sends like no other microphone can do. But as it is very muddy, it needs a friend to restore the precision. This is what the mic perfectly precision (one stinks nearest the bridge on the fender)!

Result, I have a very powerful, very rock, but always accurate.

And occasionally, just for fun, not play with the reference mudbucker in 60-70 years with happiness.

I played on a lamp and an Ampeg Cab Chillbass 212 classic series. I sound absolutely satisfactory, and for me, and my sound engineers =)

OVERALL OPINION

I have this bass for a few months now, e I have not used others like her so before. And for good reason, the combination of micro is almost unprecedented. This is what I like most about it, even if Chillbass did a great job on the violin.

The value for money is amazing. € 1,200 for a custom bass made in France (it does not take into account the price of microphones provided by me personally) will be sought long but you will not find better anywhere!

I would do this choice, of course, I also reflected on a new project for a more old school still low.
