Very low "original" and very rare! We find little in France (a chance !!!)... Side features: Lower U.S. made between 1990 and 1992 by Fender, with a more aggressive body, (the look) that the jazz bass and a handle for a conventional low U.S.. 2 microphones "passive": a micro precision (micro sleeve) and a jazz bass (at the bridge, a three-position switch: micro precision, the two ensembles, jazz bass pickups. A volume and tone ... We can do more simple! 21 frets (although that is the standard Fender and then it is good for bass players!) but are very thin (I know they are thinner than my old Fender JB).

Look for: we love it or hate it ... I bought it for the price (a US bin at that price ...)! But by reviewing the video of a concert: I thought "my god !!!"... In fact low "ugly" old design, is a Squier Precision current ...

UTILIZATION

Channel: same as Standard Jazz bass!

The big advantage of this low:

weight! It is a pen (this is one of its strengths!), It is well balanced when standing on the cheek does not feel nearly low compared to other American standards ... So A book for those who have back pain, knowing it will take a great preamp, a very good amp ... Short! € 1500 to provide work ...

If you really want to play this bass one day (after a wall decoration?)
- Provide change pickups, electronics, mechanical ...
- Avoid color "blind" since the look of the bass, do not miss it!
- Have a low replacement (a "true" if possible!) To ensure the concert ...
- You can keep at home and low exercise ...
- You can save € 200 and buy a Squier Affinity Precision (new!) That sounds 10 times better ...

Sound: a real question ... In my opinion, something medium, well not really ... Hard to describe ... Personally, I understand that Fender stopped producing this low pretty quickly! There must be an error in the design, manufacturing process ...

Purchased in 2006, I kept a few days ... Note: hard sell!
In trying to repeat, I quickly realized the blow!
I can give my true opinion on this bass, having sold some years ... LOW is the worst I had!

In summary: If you plan to buy, fly away ... Or hang on the wall (where it sounds best !)...
The chance is that they are rare (thank you our ears) so more or less easy to sell ... According to those who are tempted, I wish them a lot of courage to find the correct (in the studio to record: Forget).
