Low passive.
I customizes by changing the electronic (bypass active / passive, BT EMG preamp). I rajoutt a microphone!

UTILIZATION

The neck is super fine, much more that a musicman. Excellent and super comfortable.
The bass is quite lgre but it's not a featherweight either!

SOUNDS

I added duncan antiquity pickups precision and jazz bass (the two so we had to dig). The sound is beautiful and the difference with the original pickups United States is obvious. It is richer, bigger, more ....
has really sounds like a vintage fender bass now!

OVERALL OPINION

This is my bass prfre. In fact I am a bass and a precion a jazz bass in a Grace to 3 microphones plus a combination of its incredible.

Mine, bought secondhand in 1998 for a song has a bridge Shaller more clumsy than the standard fender.
Only one regret: the jack is located on the plate ... Better to use an angled jack.
the look is very ... 90's. Y'en who love to hate others, but regardless of the opinion that we have on the design of this one: the comfort of this one is unanimous!

UTILIZATION

This handle is a feast: although quite late, my big paws to navigate easily. A real motorway.
Access to the most acute is not being done (20 cells only) but this one is better than a Precison.
This bass is very light and falls well under the hands: no need to strap sponge to avoid being damaged wrist.
In summary with two knobs and switch are one moves from jazz to its accuracy: the versatility personified.

SOUNDS

It is suitable for all styles: the sound of the JP90 is comfort and sound are the only subjects on which metal buddy buddy root'n'reggae agree ...

OVERALL OPINION

10 years ago she got ... I like its ease of play its sounds, its versatility. Although I am not too fan of the color (bright red) I learned to get used to it. And if I have to play this bass is not to fashion shows!
The price at which I bought is ridiculous because the seller did not know what he was selling (I shop in chopper style "easy cash"). For about just over € 300 I am left with the bass, a set of strings, and a cover Warwick ...
I must admit that I probably would do this choice: this bass sounds great!
Today it is listed more than € 600 and even at that price I think it is still worth the shot: A real Fender United States at this price, do not hesitate!
