Eventide is known for their great sounding rack units for the studio and now are getting even more popular with the masses because of their great sounding and user friendly foot pedals. They have really done a great job building these pedals for the masses because it has brought a whole new customer base in the Eventide world without having to rack unit/ studio crowd involved. This is one of those pedals that really can do it all for the modulation and effects in one convenient box.

SOUND QUALITY

This is a very light and weightless pedals that will give the user a plethora of possible tones in a larger box but smaller than 6 pedals hooked together on your pedal board. This pedal can do the modulation and all of the main stay effects that a guitarist would use for a gig or even in the studio. This is a such a cool pedal that have a great tone and an authentic sound for recreating some of the best modulations sounds in existence. This is such a remarkable pedal that it just screams to be played. It has so many tones inside that it would take you days to learn and figure out all that it can do. That to me is a little turn off because I am more of an MXR plug and play one to two controls knobs tops.

OVERALL OPINION

You can pick this pedal up for right are around $400 which is a great price for what this unit can do. It will take you a lot more of time and switching pedals in and out to get all that you can from this one unit. I would suggest going with this pedal if you need an all in one effects pedal but if you want to take it a step even further than I would suggest the Eventide space pedal even more.

Nothing is perfect but it's super full.
I regret only the fact of not being able to switch both banks and "tapper" tempo.

UTILIZATION

So actually it's more complicated than just overdrive rgler but nothing trs trs complicated if you like hack and "search" your sound. Now if you want an effect plug and play, go your way. It is a boiboite "crative".

SOUND QUALITY

Amazing. Incredible effects that I had never heard elsewhere. The sound palette is standard.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had three months. I took the time to tame it before giving my opinion.
If you want to sculpt your sound, go for it head down, because this toy is amazing. If you want effects plug and play "standards" that sound "as", go your way and go home pltot TB TC electronic.
The possibilities are really wide but we must invest in the product.
I still do not understand why some feel that a sound "evil." It's really rducteur. For me, this product has no direct competitor.

UTILIZATION

I've had a year ago normment to Settings, and the possibilities of textures, speeds, advantages, ... of intensity are endless!
Paramtres management and the switch is trs effects, no background noise when we use the knobs.

SOUND QUALITY

The effects are good overall trs even if it's hard to abandon their analog pedals, you really spend time not because mals settings do not match based on the fact that we choose .
The chorus, phaser and rotary are excellent my taste.
The flanger, phaser and tremolo MRIT a CONTRL volume to grate the ridges or loss of dynamic linked the use of tremolo. An update is expected rgler easily.




OVERALL OPINION

I think it is not yet developed, j'espre that MJ will arrive quickly to the rgler qqs concerns features that hamper the use of the pedals, it was sometimes feel like a gold mine under the feet but a plastic beach shovel to dig!

Eventide has recently set out to make some of the best stomp box pedals out there in the guitar world, and this is part of the series of four pedals they created. The pedal features various different choruses, tremolos, flangers, filters, vibratos, ringmods and more. It's fully MIDI, updatable by USB 2.0, true bypass, can work in guitar or line level applications and can work in either mono or stereo.

UTILIZATION

Eventide did an awesome job in making this pedal. First of all, it's extremely sturdy and built like a tank. You could hurl this thing off the top floor of a building, and it should still work. The switches are extremely high quality, and it's true bypass so there will be no direct harm to your tone. The menus themselves are a lot easier to use than the rack stuff, I've found. There are tons and tons of features in here, so it's hard to exactly explain every little detail, so it's best to read the manual. The Eventide manuals are fairly long and a bit boring, but if you take the time to sit down with them, you'll know the thing in and out. The best thing is that this pedal is fully MIDI. You can have tons of presets set up and switch them all with a MIDI board. That means no fumbling around on the ground all the time every time you want to switch to different presets that are a few banks away.

SOUND QUALITY

This pedal sounds absolutely amazing. The modulation effects in this are easily on par with some of the rack gear that Eventide released. It has that special "Eventide" sound that no other manufacturer seems to be able to recreate. The chorus can go from super subtle to extremely lush, the tremolo has a good chop, the ringmod is awesome and they even have a decent phaser sound - something even the Axe-Fx can't say.

OVERALL OPINION

If you're looking for a good modulation device out there, take a look at the Eventide Modfactor. The thing definitely has that famous Eventide tone that has been made so famous throughout the years, and I find it's easier to use than a lot of their rack gear. The biggest negative would probably be the price.
