Topic What's your opinion on interfaces to record directly to PC?
Hi, I use Cakewalk's Sonar 6 on my PC to mix and ad effects. First, however, I record on my Roland 1680 recorder, then tranfer the tracks to the PC software. I'd like to take the 1680 out of the mix and record directly to the PC. What's the best interface for this?
My wish list: I use Windows XP64, so I'd like the drivers to be 64 bit compatible. I like recording in at least 24 bit, 48K. I'd like to have an interface that's solid and of course, no delay while recording sound-on-sound.
