The big problem with this card is that it contains only waveforms.

Let me explain what makes the character of a synthesizer (vintage or not), it is not only its oscillators, but above all its filter.

But if the SR-JV80-04 card includes waveforms synths "classic", although obviously patches can only be porgramms by exploiting the JD filter or JV / XP which it is INSRE which their confre the sound character of a JD or JV / XP, not the character of a Moog, an Arp or Jupiter 8.

Note: I did not say that the sounds are bad (on the contrary, Roland programmers have done a good job; the sonorits are hot, especially with JD-990), but they are typs "JD" or "JV" and that it is illusory to recreate the vintage sound "classic" with this card.
