Great Relic Job and Sound

Fender Road Worn '50s StratocasterPublished on 08/28/22 at 06:09
Got this not long after they first came out. I’ve heard the latest models are not as good. Great relic job and not too over done. I had it professionally set up. Sounds proper Stratty and super nice to play. I added a faux copper paisley pick guard and back cover to make it a bit more individual to me. I’ve done many recordings with it. I’ll never sell it. Prices now over a grand for one of the early ones like mine.

DISCLOSURE STATEMENT - I owned a "road worn 50's Stratocaster" about 8 years ago and LOVED it. Thats the model that was discontinued..I bought one of these new Pieces of garbage from Musicians friend thinking it was the same thing...It.Is. Not. (although Musicians friend and Fender continue to sell the guitars with the old pics..stop it guys..)...The "roadworn" bit is false advertising. The"relic" work on these guitars looks more like some factory blemishes.I could live with that, (even though, , false advertising.Take down those old pics Fender retailers) but what is REALLY sticking in my craw is the so called 'soft V neck profile" ...The original roadworn 50's neck was marvelous..It...…

I will not be buying another Fender

This is a Mexican with 3 microphones simple type of Tex Mex.

The neck is maple
The coprs an alder.

5 position selector and volume control and tone (2)

The finish is like Relic.

UTILIZATION

I love the handle which is very pleasant to the touch and easy to play.
Hand glides smoothly, neither too much nor too little.

SOUNDS

The sound is good to use as I search (blues or funk). It even happens to be jazz tunes déconnantes not ...

I play this guitar with a POD HD400.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for over a year, I'm not initially self-taught guitarist but I love playing it.

Reliquée finishing beyond the tastes and colors in my opinion has two advantages:
- We do not stress for POCS can be done on his guitar.
- The finish of the handle makes waste really great fun to play.

I really like this guitar.

Road worn mewique 50's
Mapple handle, nitro cellulose lacquer, and especially aspet vintage vintage vibe.
Micro Tex-Mex.
Acastillage high quality (knobs, cable etc. ...)

UTILIZATION

Channel super nice

SOUNDS

I have among other things, 3 strata, a series the 1964 (real), a Start with a round of classic 60 + Warmoth body that kills and micro van Zandt blues, and this one.
And though all my guitars are terrible, we will not argue the road is worn the best of all, no less.
Plugged into a fender princeton reissue, it's killing, his slamming, bright and warm in the liver, frankly magical.

I heard that the musicians pros used it to replace their original vintage just because it sounds better, and property that does not surprise me at all.

OVERALL OPINION

Frankly, aside from the old side that does not attract me more than that, the guitar is really good.
To add to their collection.
I've tried several, and they were all good.
