this is the oldest product of my studio and simply the best purchase I made for 7 years.

it's been over seven years since the interface makes me good service and I do not feel the need for more expensive.

what I like most is the value of his / price / flexibility.

I redid the choice a second time by taking a 828 for the studio which is almost similar to the ultralite and the compactness of lThis last makes it a perfect ally to play in the evenings.

Caution! Cuemix to its own logic, we must forget or tame, especially on the model fx ...

Nor do I use this card as a concert in six years. DO NOT BREAK SWITCHES OF A FRONT!, But it's solid .. Back in the U.S. sav mandatory two-month wait! And expensive ...

I would change soon for a rm, best known for its preamps. The motu is fine but the gain of the preamp and not always sufficient, with the breath forcibly.

Ever regreté this purchase, it got everywhere! Motu is a solid, clean sound, a format convenient self-powered, solid (except switches). A good semi-pro choice, before the plunge rm ;)

    - To date, no Incompatibility met; FLOW (even with my "old" Cubase SL v1), which is not the case of some models of newer cards.
    - The config is quiet, the Cue Mix is simple and uneventful, but not essential when working in direct monitoring in Cubase.
    - Hand side is a bit heavy because only in English. Even when you master the language, it is painful to have to play translator (I would rather make music during this time ...). So, just one point less for that.

    GETTING STARTED

    - To date, no problem with the drivers (I do not know the frequency of updating in Motu)
    - I use with Cubase SL and Wavelab. Still, I did a little test with demos and Live Fruity, it works impeccable.
    - Side latency ... is low, very low. It's great fun.
    - For the moment, I did not test with thousands of audio tracks :-) but the beast should be collected, given the performance.

    OVERALL OPINION

    - It's been three weeks (only) as I explore
    - In the positive, I would say almost everything, it will be less for the manual in English.
    - I worked with an old Delta 66 (incidentally very nice) but the accuracy is better sound.
    - Value for money nickel. Can finally afford a Motu without eating potatoes for ten years is quite nice!

    GETTING STARTED

    - The drivers are stable?

    Yes!

    - Are they often updated?

    No idea.

    - Are they often updated?

With a Mac and a Motu? Digital Performer of course! Machfive, Bias Peak and some VSTi instruments.
    - What you get lag?

It must be played to a quarter of a micron of hair! In other words, zero latency, or when I play faster than my shadow!
    - How many tracks you get to record / play time? ...

A record, as far as I input, ie 10. Without any sign of weakness or dropping from the card or computer (1GB RAM for the portable version, 2GB for desktop).

    Result:

I find the front and back cover charge but trs MOTU had to make an effort to cram all the connections. I wish I can use it without external power on the move but it is a problem of laptop, I'm serious shit!
and then the software suite that helps me is nothing I CABASE the first hour, so hard for me to pass that offers me a MOTU. I do not regret my purchase, trs good audio interface, really.
