none for the moment. 64 VST support this version even on 32-bit. this being the native 64 is near!

yes for player since! manual gearbox version is sufficient. for those who have a DL version, just go get on her personal space.

The facility is clean, no problem, though somewhat long seen the (very) large sample set (after that depends on the version).

The default configuration is sufficient, then we can adapt it to their needs without problems, provided to search and read the manual ...

The plugs are available with rarely used on other programs, otherwise compatibility issue is one of the best sequencers, provided fumble in his config!

The manual is rich, contextual help especially practical, but it's not worth the Help window of Ableton ... And it is mostly in English!

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

I use it on two ordis:-A new generation (Toshiba 4 cores, W7, ...)

I have this software for 3 months before I had the demo version to give me a hand.
The interface is fairly accessible.
It was my first sequencer, and I drooled to master.
But one gets used: FL studio, a style that's all!

Many possibilities! Ideal for editing

The -: unusable live (it is definitely not made for)
interface a bit clumsy ...
difficult at times to navigate between elements, which accumulate systematically

Fl Studio 10 is a production program that I have been using for the last few years. Well the previous versions 8 and 9. I recently upgraded to FL Studio 10 for free because I purchased the online download version with the upgrade package. Basically I paid around 40 dollars and now can upgrade to any version of FL Studio when they come out for free. This is one of the reasons why I love fl studio because I remember when I was using logic you had to pay for the upgrades!


SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

I use FL Studio on my dell laptop and it runs very good. When I am using asio for all with it it eliminates any problems during playback which can become an issue if you start using too many plug ins at the same time, it gets to the point that your system just can handle it and it will make everything really slow and buggy.


OVERALL OPINION

I love the sounds of FL Studio 10 and how easy it is to use it. The program its self can be a little confusing at first I remember when I first started using fl 7 or 8. I was really having problems because I was just getting into music production and it was all new to me. But now that I understand a little better fl Studio 10 is very easy to use.
Fl Studio is great because it has a forum at fl studio.com where you can go and watch tutorials and interact with other fl studio users. It can really be helpful in case you have some questions regarding how to do something, or incase you lose your copy of fl studio you can always log onto your account and download it again with any hassle. Fl Studio provides great customer service to customers.

Fl Studio 10 by Image Line is the most recent version of the program, I have upgraded to this program recently and I can say that I love it just as I have always loved FL Studio because it is so easy to use and once you get the hang of the interface you can create great sounding music in NO time at all.


SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

It was really easy to install and get up and running on my dual core pc. I haven’t had any crashes yet and don’t think that I will because it seems to be running perfectly. The program itself doesn’t take up a lot of ram, but once you start getting into plug ins and different effects on the mixer track it can start to glitch a bit. that’s why it comes with free asio 4 all drivers. Asio will take care of all those glitches and give you a smooth playback. Even if you have some glitches which can happen from time to time, they wont render like that. Your final product will be smooth and wont have those glitches. The manual is really easy to understand, but if you come from another version of FL you wont need it.


OVERALL OPINION

Sounds great, there are some differences in this version and previous versions though, one thing is you can see the actual wave forms on the mixer track inserts moving in real time. That is something that really isn’t “needed” but its pretty nice to have. On the downside Im not really a fan of how they keep changing up the play list though. I am a fan of the previous versions of FL Studio’s play list.

Overall, a great program which as really swept the music world by storm. Almost everyone either has fl studio or has used it. Big cudos to the FL Studio team to continue to bring a great music production software at an affordable price. If you ever need support for FL Studio 10 or any previous version you can easily log on once you register your product on the website and they have forums to help with whatever question you might have.

Fl Studio is easy to set up. Pop in the disc, or download it from Image Lines website upon purchase, install it, and authorize it. The manual is very clear and sufficient. You can google anything relating to FL studio and the manual, with the right page open, will pop up in the results. It's very helpful. The general configuration is simple, if your use to DAWs. If it's your first one it's going to take some time to get acquainted, just like any other complex software such as Pro Tools or Reason. I will say that FL Studio, to me, is the easiest DAW to learn that is out right now.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

FL STudio has some compatibility issues. Sometimes it crashes, sometimes it acts weird and makes me go find audio files that were in the project last time I opened it but now FL Studio say it can't find them. That is a real pain. Some of little glitchy things happen as well, but I don't believe any DAW is completely glitch free. I've been using ten since it came out which I believe was about a year ago. I wish FL studio would just make it 64bit so I don't have to "bridge" my plugins. I don't like doing that because it seems to make things less stable.

OVERALL OPINION

I like how easy it is to make tracks. It is just a way quicker process in FL Studio than in any other DAW I've worked with, which is all of them. I also like how simple the mixer is. It's very easy to understand and get around. I'm not a fan of the way the "send" channels are set up, but I don't really use sends that often anyway. Image Line added some nice features in FL Studio 10 with auto-save and optional wide mixer tracks, which I'm sure a lot of people liked. FL Studio also comes with a lot of great effects and plugins already it it. Such as Fruity Reverb, and Slicex.

Overall it's my favorite DAW, it has it's problems though.

Instalation RAS, compatibility etc ... No problem, up grade also carefree ...

Manuel ... regularly practiced for some years now but for a novice, given the "wealth" in FL now, it may be time for the grip ... but it is feasible for all concerned! It like everyone to be there ..

HP DV6 laptop on dual core etc ... 4 GB of RAM so no PB.
FL works very well with plain VST / VSTi same time, he is very familiar with this system (it is also made for that ...).

Obviously, I do not use FL Studio but it's part of my set with Studio One DAW (Presonus) and Samplitude (MAGIX).

OVERALL OPINION

I know FL since version 6 or 8, I do not know ...
Raport money very good, the envirronement FL is great and allows to arrange / compose to mastering its tracks.

The pros:
- Customizable Browser to manage the files / external and internal data (patterns, plugs parameters ...)
- Full VST / VSTi base to produce music without additions and in a wide range of musical styles.
- Automations flexible and comprehensive enough (curve types, routing controller for flexible and configurable to a large extent.
- Integration with other DAW VSTi as VSTi and REWIRE
- Export MIDI simple, simple MIXDOWN also export multitrack simple.
- Routing the mixer easy: you can create fairly complex routings, busing, multi busing, etc. .... SEND
- Configuration of tracks parameters ...

The -:
- LESS is the big mix in my opinion: I prefer by far the mixer from Presonus Studio One of which allows to identify quickly (focus) to the selection of a track of the selected pattern, for example ...
- Always mixer: system snapshot would be nice because when you see a 20-30 track it becomes difficult to manage!


Otherwise FL works great as it remains one of my favorite DAW, fast, good workflow ...
