The DBX 231 is a great equalizer of quality manufactured by a very large brand qualisation.
Nothing to do with a Behringer product whose efficiency is zero.
This corrects qualiseur rather well, do not induce breath (prvoir good wiring symmetrical with eg cable and plugs Cordial Rean / Neutrik)
the product is manufactured solid and commissioning is simple.

USE

Very good Gnrale configuration, facade clear, easy rglages perfect manual.

SOUND QUALITY

The qualisation is efficient, clean, and rings.
Used on a sound basis, it improves the answer Seriously curve
I hate Behringer still far too expensive for a zero efficiency, and resale .. HELLO!

NOTICE GLOBAL

Use for 3 months over 20 dates.

excellent, nothing to do with a 2x15, the sound is a incredible sharpness, sharp breath without huge, powerful bass without saturation ...

"Money"

analog equalizer 20Hz to 20kHz in 31 bands, two channels.
Bandwidth of 10Hz to 50kHz, input / output jack or balanced XLR 6.3.

The cut / boost per band is switchable: 6 or 12dB
Low cut at 40Hz (18dB / octave), the preamplifier gain setting.
Bypass + visualization output level LED bargraph.

UTILIZATION

Simple, no need to book.

Excellent sound quality, crystal, efficient, no breath!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 2 years: reliable, robust, simple and effective.
Comparison with other affordable EQ (Behringer, Samson, etc. ..)
and low-end digital EQ =
In sound, the DBX is a little better, but the difference is not obvious.
(NB: the removal of feedback from Behringer is a tricky gadget!)
In home studio, there's no picture, the DBX is really very far ahead!

SOUND QUALITY
