    Ibanez Electric Guitar

I bought the guitar from project music in exeter for £250 pounds. it looked different and i just really liked the shape.

It looks awesome. the detuner behind the bridge would be really usefyl for people who like to drop tune. tne neck is really nice but i did get the action lowered for better playibility. i like the pickups for the price but i stuck in a gibson pickup at the bridge and a seymour duncan at the neck and its imp-roved the sound immeasureably

The tuners move really easy and its always going out of tune. Its kinda heavy

When i got it everything wasz perfect and pristine . Thi input jack tends to get loose during gigging but it might just be mine.

    Switch Electric Guitar

    Ibanez M5CPublished on 12/20/03 at 15:00
I got this Switch from Macari's in Soho, London. I did a brief research and discarded the Squire quickly. Settled for a short list of a basic Vintage, the Switch and a Yamaha Pacifico. The cost of the Switch was £169. Best price for a Squire was £129 including amp, strap, cable from Toys R Us!! Best price for a Vintage: £199. Yamaha Pacifico: £199. All excluding amplifier except the Squire.

It's designed by a guy called Trev Wilkinson in Southern California. Never met the guy. I imagine him surfing in the mornings and designing electric guitars in the afternoon until late. Cool. The morning surf is better and you avoid the masses. The guitar looks great. Black and White. The soun…

The morning surf is better and you avoid the masses. The guitar looks great. Black and White. The sound is unusual. What I like about this guitar is that it has personality. The Yamaha and the Squire have a 'mass produced' feel. The Vintage sounded good but cost more.

Not much. At the moment, but I have just bought it. However, I will make sure that Macari's gives me a good warranty. I mean, I trust Trev but...

According to the blurb, it's constructed with a resin called 'Vibracell'. I don't mind this. Experts say it increases resonance. It's kind of a new sound. Construction fells good.

Personality. Designed by a guy who put his name on it. If he gets it wrong his name is shit. Shareholders at Fender or Yamaha are faceless. Have you ever met one?

    Encore Electric Guitar

Bought from a catalougue for £150, with bag, 10watt amp and strap.

I like this guitar because, it has all the stuff you need to get started out. I didn't want to spend much on a electric guitar, because I didn't think I would stick at it, but once i get better i will spend £300 on a guitar.

The one thing I don't like about this guitar is the quality of the pick-ups, of course there not going to be that good, you seem to get a lot of feed back, but thats all.

The quality of the guitar is very good, the finish is good, everything on it is good.
It just looks like a very expenisve Fender strat, exept the head-stock is a bit different..

I would recodmend this guitar to any one just start…

    Ashton Electric Guitar

I paid about $270.00 AUS for this Ahston Electric Guitar at BamBam, Blacktown, with real savings compared to other places!

It's great, has lots of fatures, looks great! and also quite light, which is great if your doing live gigs, and you want to jump around and stuff..

Thres not much I dont like about, except probably that it gets un-tuned quickly, compared to Fenders etc.. But the sound is great!

Quality is great! I accidently dropped it off a 2 metre stage, nothign happen, didnt even scratch.. This is what I like! GREAT SOUND STILL, and NO DENTS!

I recommend this guitar, for the price, sound and the quality!

    Brownsville Electric Guitar

    Ibanez M5CPublished on 12/06/02 at 15:00
I first started playing guitar at 9 years old but it was a small acoustic so at age 16 i needed a new guitar and i wanted an electric to do the style of music i was into so i went to a music store and bought a $90 brownsville and a vox amp

the best thing about the brownsville is its unique sound and look i have had people ask me how i make it sound like that and people even tried to trade me their gibson gothics before and this guitar was only $90.

the major problem with this product are the stringshave the tendency to go out of tune and the back strap holder breaks if you jump alot but a longer screw holds it just fine.

the body is a solid body i'm not sure of the wood the neck is hard maple i think with a rosewood fretboard the headstock is the same color of the body and is equiped with silver hardware and a three way tremlo switch.

this guitar is well worth the money and it looks great.

    Regent / Guyatone Electric Guitar

    Ibanez M5CPublished on 04/27/02 at 15:00
    EBAY! for around 137 bucks.

This guitar plays very well for something under 150. I like the whole vintage look, and the unique aluminum pickguards. The tone is awesome! The bridge humbucker sounds great when you hook it up to some overdrive pedal. The neck pickup is the cleanest I've ever heard! It sounds better than the ones on a gibson!

I get feedback due to the fretboard mixed with pickups. The interior electrics seem to cut off at times. I will get it looked at. The switch that changes from bridge to neck pickups is somewhat loose and tends to switch around while playing.

The whole thing is built sturdily, and it's always tuned correctly, no matter how many times you hit the headstock against something.

    Good for intermediates. Emo rocks!

    Harmony Electric Guitar

The Harmony guitar is a nice begginer guitar. I got it from a guitar magazine that isnt to widely used or read. I got this guitar for 200.00 because I always wanted a guitar and it looks just like a Fender.

I really like The whole guitar. The one thing i like most aout it is that the strings are very easy to tune and they hardly need it. The volume setting is very easy 2 set precisley on the exact volume you want. This is a great guitar for a beginner but can be used by anyone.

There really isn't much I dont like about this guitar. One thing however is that the tremolo(wammy) bar knocks it out of tune sometimes. Also the cord jack sometimes may come loose if you twist the wire, while unpl…

The construction of this guitar is very strong. It has a pearl white pickguard, and a rosewood neck. It also as some chrome like on the intonation settings, the frets are chrome, and the wammy bar is chrome. The quality of the unit is actually really good. The neck is tight on it, the frets are tight, some screws come loose occasionally.

This product is a great product for begginer guitarists. It may not be a popular brad, however it looks just like a Fender, has a great sound, and stays in tune most of the time. There are very few problems weith this guitar. Hey if this isnt eoug for you it comes with a small practice amp. Remember the name Harmony for almost the best harmony in a guitar.
