Delay, Echo, numrique looper.

UTILIZATION

The config is simple, but you really delve in to this edition are the sounds. The manual englais (a possible problem did not) is clear, There are the same rglages board.

SOUND QUALITY

That's the bte rvle are charming because it sounds really find some standards in this little box, I use it mainly with a scraper.
I find that the looper is a little gadget even if I used from time to time with pleasure (I record loops and I wonder drrire battery).

OVERALL OPINION

I've had it 5 months, and I like the pedals normment I t sduit by functionality and originality and the DMOS at EHX. I tried the JamMan and then various delay but I felt really good to put everything in a box, the EHX is, the better.

I pay 165euros effect at center, I saw also much more expensive, I think it's a fair price for this quality pedals.

I would do this choice, especially when it released a new version

UTILIZATION

Simple configuration, a knob to select the mode and five others to act on rglages.
We must spend some time to come out even qd something good, but worth it. Note that you can save a preset by mode, so no need to re-rgler whenever the knobs.
The manual is clear and the trs small table rsum the function of each knob ds each mode can be very useful.
Trs looper function is intuitive and accessible on all modes. Very practical, is that support. Be careful it does not loop back, however you can arrter and resume the loop thanks to the bypass switch. The loop is lost qd you unplug the unit.

SOUND QUALITY

The sound is good trs. The tense of its possibilities is wide, wide trs. From simple time limit have the most space.
You have to max 3 sec time limit, which is enough for anyone.
INTERESTED function is the Multi Tap 1sec + rev: you play and hold on the tap tempo switch and you replay it all backwards. It is the only mode o can not accder the looper.
The reverse echo is very well and can rglages accder great sonic palette.
The filter is rglage apprciable trs, it allows to vary the time limit of characters in and out a little cold sound of digital.
Looper function is intuitive and trs INTERESTED. You can place your loop backwards, record something, put it back where and what you have to play ... is understood backwards. You can change the pitch (speed) also, same principle: acclerer your loop, play, return the initial speed and what you just heard is playing an octave lower. Gnial.

I would like to add some precision from the first view of the device ngatif:
- First, the repeat is yes Sets the number of rptions BUT ONLY ds Multi Tap mode, otherwise it works like a ds FEEDBACK TRADITIONAL others. This is clearly not the ds manual.
- It is rare to dclencher recording a loop in trying to tap the tempo, because you have to keep support at least half a second to start recording. In gnral when you hit the beat we made Manir strong and fast. You just have to know.
- I really, really not what ESG ds does not see the tap tempo LED when you press the switch?!
- Hold down to record the loop, may in some dcontenancer is true, for me it's just that I have to be sitting in order to save both the loop and use the pedals to volume. Qd if one has the sense of rhythm a minimum, a password.

OVERALL OPINION

This should parfaitemnt my expectations of delay pedals a simple to use with good sound, a tap tempo switch and a looper. It's really apprciable to have both in one.
I had a Jamman, trs good machine, but I did not exploit its full potential, the I just what I need.
I think again if I had that choice.

Multi-stereo digital delay with a looper and a repeater upside down (see below). Format pedal the same type as the new effects EHX (holy stain, cathedral reverb, etc.). Boitier blue steel knobs black and white of good quality, metal switch, true bypass, power supply provided.

The fine material for the pedal set, in fact I think qu'EHX is my preferred manufacturer of industrial effects.

UTILIZATION

The config is very simple, very intuitive and well explained in the manual that came with the beast.

SOUND QUALITY

The effects sound surprisingly good for a digital delay. The knob to "filter" in particular, is a low pass filter allows radical enough to change many sound. The modulations of short delay (300 ms + mod) sound good and the delay that repeats what you've played in reverse when you press the switch, that's really good.

The looper is basic and very effective / useful / fun to use: Long, recording stops support, stops recording. UTILIZATION

No, it's not simply go around the beast, but hey, we dig two hours in the manual and it's done.
One can still find the delay is sought in a short time. Well the only negative I've found so far is that there is no digital display to calibrate the delay in milliseconds ready ... Yeah I go out, I had to buy a DD20 haha! Then it would not make me play better ... So all is well.

The Electro-Harmonix Stereo Memory Man With Hazarai is the newest pedal in the Memory Man family of delay pedals. However, this is a digital pedal and not analog like the other Memory Man pedals. The pedal also has a built in 30 second looper as well as all sorts of versatile effects. The pedal has two 1/4" inputs and outputs and can be powered up by a nine volt power supply that comes with it. It isn't a rack mountable delay unit as it is foot pedal.

UTILIZATION

Using the Electro-Harmonix Stereo Memory Man With Hazarai isn't too hard, but there are a lot of features to learn if you're really going to dive in deep with this. As far as your main parameters go, you've got knobs for blend, decay, filter, repeats, and delay, as well as to engage Hazarai. There are sections for echo, multi-tap, and deja vu settings, which are different types of delay effects as well as different looping features. The pedal has two buttons - one for bypass and one for tap/record. It will take you a little while to get used to everything that the pedal has to offer, so I'd recommend having the manual around to help speed up the process.

SOUND QUALITY

As far as digital delay pedals go, the Electro-Harmonix Stereo Memory Man With Hazarai has one of the cleanest delay sounds that I've heard. I've used it with a Fender Stratocaster and a 1976 Fender Twin Reverb amp. While it doesn't touch the sound of a Memory Man Deluxe analog delay, for a digital delay there is a lot that you can do, and ton of different sounds that are possible. You can get a lot of traditional clean sounding delays, as well as sweeping and more spacious delay sounds. The pedal also has flanger and chorus tones available as well...

OVERALL OPINION

While this is a much newer pedal than the Line 6 DL-4, it is still a good comparison to make with the Electro-Harmonix Stereo Memory Man With Hazarai. I think that overall I like the EH Stereo Memory Man better, but mostly because the delay sounds are better, not the looping features. I would encourage those interested in a delay and/or looper pedal, I'd highly recommend trying out both pedals to see what you like best, as they're both in the same price range and have a similar make up...
