UTILIZATION

The number of knob and switch can scare some at first glance but nothing too bad ..
The sound editing is simple,

A mix knob, one for setting the length of the delay, one for the feedback, a mode selector and a volume can serve as a general boost.
The mini switch is a real plus for this pedal: one that allows you to apply filters (high-pass or low-pass or no)
To assign an expression pedal to control the mix or that the feedback effect of the foot.
Modulation to add a more or less pronounced
And a final to select the "sub-modes".
It can save a preset by mode (damage should be limited to two pedal power all operate live)

SOUND QUALITY

I think the sound quality is good, special mention for the modes "tape" and misc which I think are the real advantages of this pedal.
Regarding the standard mode and tap time, I find that the quality of the repetitions is a bit worse than a T-Rex Replica for example. (Matter of taste perhaps)
Good but otherwise it's all good, most captious without problems the delay of their choice, either by applying filters and modulations.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for almost 4 months, I have not done the trick, I'll come back.
This pedal is designed for musicians who are "inspired by their pedals" as the Empress said ..

Again I think the sound quality of Delays "standards" are a bit below a Replica.
The guitarists who want a simple delay, plug n play, go your ways, other bah try before you buy

UTILIZATION

At first glance the numbers of buttons / knobs can be scary but the pedal is very easy to adjust, after finding his sound is another story.
There are 8 modes in each mode and a mini three-position switch allows for varying 3 parameters in each mode.
Put a mini switch for modulation more or less pronounced in the delay.
A mini switch for a treble filter pass and low pass.
And a final to select which parameter you want to assign a pedal EXP.
on the other hand, as is true bypass when off the delay pedal stops, it's too bad seen the price of the beast.

SOUND QUALITY

So I bought this delay especially for simulations band. My time I could never listen to a real tape delay in my young life, but the sound comes out of this pedal is a heat! To give you an idea go watch videos on youtube site ProGuitarShop.
Special mention for the reverse mode with the delay increases to C an octave higher with feedback thoroughly the effect will be even more pronounced. Accompanied by a deep reverb rendering is very beautiful!
In any case the delay will be hot, very vintage.

OVERALL OPINION

Despite some concern to me that delay is perfect.
I never thought I could have it but fate has decided otherwise!
Purchased with a U.S. dollar interest I made a saving of 130 € on the Empress. This is not negligible = D
In any event for lovers of fine vintage delay pedal that will do an excellent job!


The next will be the last born from Strymon the timeline, but also expensive with its a bit more "fuck" and always with beautiful simulations band that I've seen videos.
