T Rex is a pedal manufacturing company that really builds great sounding pedals for the professional and amateur guitarist. This is a pedal that is a tube power reverb pedal that gives you a great sounding tube reverb sound. There is quite a difference between a digital to analog, and spring reverb units compared to the tube driven reverb units. This is a pedal that gets you a nice sounding tube tone that really fills the air with a crate sounding reverb. Overall this is a great sounding pedal and it has a load of features and options to get you pretty much any sound that you are looking for.

SOUND QUALITY

You have four control knobs of operation to choose from. Your first control knob is the mix which allows you to dial in the effected signal along with the dry signal. This gives you the overall effect within your main guitar tone. Next you have the decay which is how wide and lasting the reverb tone continues to drop off from the signal. Can you have a level control which gives you the overall volume level of this pedal. Next you have a mode control that gives you four types of possible sounds including spring,, Hall, and then a unique sound called LFO setting. Again this is a great sounding pedal and will get you the right amount of reverb for any song or recording that you need.

OVERALL OPINION

You can find these pedals for right around $370. That is a load of money for a single unit and especially a reverb pedal. I think a reverb pedal in my opinion shouldn't be more than $200. However this is he tube driven reverb so it's going to give you that organic tube sound that you can only find any tube driven reverb unit. Many times in order to get a tube driven reverb sound you have to buy the reverb tube amplifier. This is the pedal that you would own if you had the money to throw down on a simple reverb pedal. It has a great tone and clarity for most style of reveber in most applications.

The T-rex room mate is a digital reverb pedal lamp which has between one and two output (mono or stereo).

UTILIZATION

The handling is very simple, there are four knobs of rglage, for a mix of fact, one for volume gnral output, one for frquences (reverb severe or acute) and one to manage the four modes.

SOUND QUALITY

The reverbs are good, natural and warm enough.
It is rather in room reverbs, so no sound eccentricity.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a few weeks after having returned the Tc nova reverb that has a "better" reverb and more complete rglages n'tait but I got too transparent.
What I like most about the T-rex room mate is its transparency, it is the only reverb I had my last respects signal (I used the Line6 Verbzilla the EH Holy grail, the Boss RV5 and TC Nova reverb).
What I like least and it is a shame for the price, it is the impossibility to play on the duration of effect, it has 4 modes, and that's it.

The 4th mode is a reverb chorusse trs enjoyable in its light.

Yes, I will exprience with this choice again just for transparency.

Reverb pedals numrique but with a lamp (as in the amp lights) two outputs spares (using either a mono or two-in Stereo)
it has a vintage look pretty and classy at the same time and barely larger than a boss!

UTILIZATION

4 buttons the volume of the reverb, the DGRE treble in reverb, the volume-General for the pedals (not zero-sound at all with the guitar), and select modes
No memory for presets but no need, we find its rglages in the blink of an eye
But I put 9 out of 10 only because bte possde a lamp (which gives the incomparable beauty that reverb!) Who will one day either be changed, so I issue a reserve about this because the lamp air difficult to ACCS and therefore difficult to change ...

SOUND QUALITY

The reverb produced by this PDAL is incredible! a warmth and sweetness that I had never before court (I test the rev-3, rev-5, Verbzilla, the holy grail ..) with a bypass transparent really,
I use it with a tlcaster Thinline in a vox ac 30 and it is beautiful!
it includes all four modes gniaux
on the other hand if you want reverb cathedral should not turn to this model, the reverb pedals that are deep enough and long my taste but perhaps not for everyone!

OVERALL OPINION

I for a month and I love everything about this pedals (being able to blow or boost the treble with high cut, for example)
CHRE but it is certainly a worthwhile, the concurrency has no chance against the quality of the reverb

AWESOME I tell you!

I will not dwell on features which have been well described in other reviews.
In my case I wanted a reverb to go with my head Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier with no reverb built.
After hearing the sound reproduction, I integrated into my pedals and I used instead of other intégraes reverb amp. The sound quality is excellent pedal.

UTILIZATION

In my case cons with my combo Mesa Boogie DC-5 it was necessary that I put it in the effects loop, reverb if does not fire even pottard triturating the gain of the pedal.
But once in the loop is perfect!

SOUND QUALITY

I use with guitar, but I have seen on youtube as some utiilisent for voice, which does not surprise me, given the quality of rendering.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had a few months, and I do not regret any purchase. Frankly I also have a Lexicon MXP-1 is a bit old, but fairly well known for its reverb, and although the Room Mate has nothing to envy!
