UTILIZATION

It takes a bit of time before taking the hand (or rather foot) to engage the effect the first time since the click is enough "far" in the pedal stroke. On the other hand, it avoids inadvertent manipulation. No volume control or anything, so we use is not be easier! The race is against rather short which makes use of delicate pedal: a slight movement of the foot significantly change the sound.

SOUND QUALITY

I am very divided on this point. I find it very natural and beautiful clean sound, but when you push the gain is lost in translation and the pedal becomes strangely shrill. I do not use more than the funky rhythm, I find it excellent!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a year now. It's a bit the opposite of a Cry Baby: while Dunlop is more comfortable on distorted leads, Vox fits perfectly on rhythmic clear sound.
I do not regret this purchase. For its price it is a good wha-wha entry level. on the other hand I change surely a more versatile pedal.

UTILIZATION

Well it's simple, you press fully to engage, play, and we rappuie to stop the effect!
No need for manual so!
The effect is not too hard to engage, and the race is short what can be an advantage or a disadvantage depending on people to see.
The pedal looks good externally robust.

SOUND QUALITY

Ben, we must recognize that it comes out okay.
It was still a well-typed his wah I find the old and it's fun because what I was looking for.
I preferred at the time instead of a Cry Baby GCB95 tried at the same time, simply because the Vox seemed less harsh and warmer, more musical and it feels even more clean.

It is nickel for the funk of course, for use in or with fuzz distortion I will vote no, not playing in distortion with wah (I like way, I really prefer the wah on the clean) and having no fuzz, but without going into the wild stuff you should be fine, again for the old blues-rock-hard 70's

Its biggest drawback is the integrated buffer and reliability over time, and a small volume difference between the sound effect without the engaged and with (see below).

But the sound is really not bad for the price already, compared to the base Cry I find. So I put 8.

OVERALL OPINION

So I for 2 years.

This is a good model for its price for a first wah (good for € 90 as I see sometimes it starts to get abused limit I guess, but for me it's going to new € 70), although for more modern sounds and metal it will not his thing (this is clearly the sound to the old Vox wah).
The advantage is its price and the sound issued.

For cons:
- The buffer playing its role as buffer preserves the shine of course, but it literally eats your bass. It gets along well with A / B test.
- There is also a small increase in volume when compared to the snaps his "dry", which can be both embarrassing for group play useful to pierce the mix with the wah (but when you n 'are not supposed to be in the lead with wah, you can make big eyes once engaged!).
- Finally, as to the reliability, there is his biggest weakness I could find, mine does not crackles despite its 2 years old, but the switch has already messing with (I switched, and presto, more volume, sound mute) while in terms of number of hours of play I can see it as new as far as I am very careful. Inserts jacks are so-so, it seems that the knob crachouille quickly enough, for now at least on that side I was lucky!

I will then put in notes 7 overall balance between quality defects, since we can not get 7.5 and I find the 8/10 a little too nice
So, following my worries switch that shit I nabbed the V846HW, true bypass and with quality components. In theory all the advantages of this V847A without its drawbacks, so what are the top!
But hey, we can advise for a first wah for qqun who has not a big budget and looking for a vintage 70's rather his or funky wah clean, nag for stuff, fans everywhere trimpots etc., go your way, it's plug and play in entry-level price that will do the job in a first time, neither more nor less.

changes are:
a status LED (on / off)
a knob which operates the magnitude of the effect WHA
switch 2 positions: normal and wha sweep (type envelope filter)

the result is excellent.
-LED provides some comfort for obvious reasons.
Amplitude-management is very effective! and provide flexibility for use. This toggles a "wha 'wha an exuberant cast and discreet ..
-The effect simply sweep brings an effect in addition to the pedal, the change in frequency range to the bass and produces a sound similar to an "envelope filter" run by the expression pedal.

UTILIZATION

Nothing more simple, perhaps just difficult to trigger, making it impossible to bind the parties and non-wah in the same piece with serenity, but avoids inadvertent stop.

SOUND QUALITY

No breath, no buzz, I find the original sound pretty good, it does a good job, but it's true that it is too noisy position "acute" . The lack of true bypass eats a little bit of momentum in the treble.

UTILIZATION

, the switch is a little hard drive, but as the V847 Made in USA. The pedal is very heavy and like the ground (more than U.S. lgre though), CASC battery is simple if you do not want to feed it with an external power supply. The jacks are rugged Plutt air. The stroke of the pedal is the same as that of the U.S., I find it enough, I can do both funky rhythms and use it as a progressive filter.

SOUND QUALITY

I use it on fender blues deluxe, with strat tl and "a kind of Lespaul.
I compared the U.S., one of the other ct. They diverged but I think there is no worse than the other. These are just two pedals in the same spirit, but not in the same Manir.
They are in the same spirit because China is never shrill or cold, unlike the crybaby or other morley, it is very vintage and does things with round and flexible and can be pouring into caricature. The Chinese went further in the grave and may be a little more acute than in the U.S., I also think the belt filter is thinner but more amplified. Basically the effect of "wha" is accented on the Chinese than the U.S.. While the U.S. does it half-portion or outrancire Is China? It depends on the tastes and customs of each.
The U.S. is softer than China and is a marvel for clean sounds, the Chinese will go harder and further than amricaine and according to the amps sound can be too aggressive (on a CO -30 is probably too much). OVERALL OPINION

whawha "vox" by the softness and roundness of the effect (that I oppose the aggressiveness and the coldness of crybaby and Morley), but it is more pronounce that the U.S. version.
For some it may seem a little too much contrast (ranging in too serious and too much treble), for others it is more audible than the U.S. while remaining very 60 '.
I am really very happy for my part, I do not really play with soul or funk up, rather rock sound and I often saturated so this pedal suits me better than the U.S. , ts are a bit "too much" then I do not reign at all, on the contrary. And i was glad to have a range of 9V to power supply and n'tre not have to always have a 9V battery as required by the U.S..

Wah, quite simply.
port and port instrument amplifier, the novelty for the U.S. version is the port for an AC adapter .. and that was a little heavier in the process.

I use for almost a year, this is my first wah and the weakness of this chinoiserie is its lack of true bypass, and a rotten system.

So level money is paid dear for what it really is.
