First time thread long time voyeur..

Ok so I'm kind of new to this. I just purchased a Scarlett 2I4 and for the most part everything works. My Macbook recognizes it. I have a mic hooked up and a guitar and Logic ProX works just fine with the sound input for these instruments. BUT I also have a Yamaha KX8 MIDI Keyboard that I have been using regularly through a direct USB Port on my mac. I bought the Scarlett 2I4 so I can plug my Midi Keyboard into it. That being said.... The Scarlett 2I4 is not transmitting the midi keyboard signal to my mac at all. What am I missing. My Mac knows the Scarlett 2I4 is there and Logic knows it's there because it is receiving the instrument and mic signals.

Could the Midi Jack on the Scarlett 2I4 or my keyboard be bad? I know the USB works on the Keyboard.

Could my keyboard be outdated for the Scarlett 2I4?
