4 years without problem, both in the private than to live music or the beautiful sound of his sound is gnrateur particulirement note (sax and trumpet sounds are rguli rately turn the head to people who want the instrument rel!)

OVERALL OPINION

Totally agree with Adristan. This instrument has over 10 years, many advances have been made since on synthesis and yet it retains its place proudly in my set (the VA-7 "accompany" my Nord Stage).
I just listen on eg AF sounds of the Juno-G. They are mostly very good and more advanced than those of IL-7. But the difference is not large enough to make me want to replace my old friend.
No sound is mediocre. We will correct the excellent. I've never heard of brass ensembles sounding better to my ears.
I am not a specialist arrangers. I bought it at the time to simplify my life and streamline the space occupied: no amp, no mixer or monitor, you turn and you play with integrated speakers.
If I had to change today, it would only go to a station offering many more possibilities in audio, arpeggios, patterns, etc., such as a Reason XF.

A bit tedious at first, but there are so many possibilities, 11 years later, I think I have not used the full potential of this monster!

OVERALL OPINION

Used at home (via m audio firewire 410 for the records) and in concert, sounds are impeccable (and rhodes piano, hammond etc. ...). I tried many different models at the time and I really flashed for VA7.
With experience, I do it again this choice with your eyes closed ... I remain convinced that this is the best keyboard ever since Arranger
Just to clarify: Just look at what happens in 10 years to realize that in terms of sound, things have not really changed. The VA7 is strong, powerful ... I think the price proposed argus is not related to the keyboard or with the market (average price between 800 and 1200 euros for a bone occas now!)
