NOTICE GLOBAL

I use the microwave for about 3 or 4 months (I have a couple) and I find it really gnial. I use it mainly for voice and acoustic guitars (torque handle / bridge is really gnial). Used also to elect taken guitar (amp transplanting), flute, drums (Over head: glove!), Choral recordings (couple stro) string orchestra (couple stro) etc ... Something gnial this micro: low adjustable cutting 20,150 hz. It's nice to share rode to be thought. Why go into bcannes of frequencies that will turn later to the mix? (In addition to dynamic is lost). it's a thing that seduced me on this mic because my pramps quips are not low-cut (ART DPS 2). I tried a lot of stuff before you buy: NT1000, NT2, TLM103 (good but too expensive for my wallet lol), Audio Technica 4033, C01 Samson Behringer B2, etc ... You say more, except that I just have changed my APRS acqurir Studio Project C3 bought two days before.

In short, I'm in love with this fantastic mic, the Rode personality.
It is super warm and round, powerful bass and treble in prcis trs. Ideal for voice and acoustic guitars made.
The possibility diffrent guidance lobes (cardode, eight, or omni) widely versatility.

Short as happiness, and in addition it is really cheap compared to C3. 100 euros cart!

I would say that this mic is good to do everything (even if I did not try on everything, the cost of this test I do not think I put myself in danger by shouting its versatility!) = excellent on voice on acoustic guitar, guitar amp before (just place it before and it does the rest ...) and I even tried making global (that silent in a room acoustics filthy ... I placed the microphone before a mtal (clear vocals and death, two guitars, bass, drums) and I surprised to hear t each element separately Fawn! (well made bass, bass drum, overhead, Submitted guitars, and likewise for the song)

I have a few months, but I have not had a chance to use it thoroughly. However, what I've heard so far really pleased me!
Aside from the weight of the microphone that requires attention particulire when put in place (may be that adding a weight of 5 kilos of muscle the base of the foot (threaded through the center ) is a solution ...), consider this microphone seems to have that quality. I will not clean all the sensitivity of the static that makes the slightest rverbration of the room is amplified ...
Before him, I used a Berhinger C1 and tried the T-bone SCT2000 (lamp) ... I do not regret my choice.
The report price is good quality and I think I would do without this choice hsiter!

Voila 2 weeks I have Aquis now and I'm rather pleased I use it only for the track (hiphop) TonePort UX2 with a laptop and a HP dv1000 1.8 ghz 1GB RAM 100GB hard disk space
this microphone is clean and pure sound without returning blows
very low-cut practice that when we start yelling a little super proves to be useful
this is my first micro pro and I'm happy I certainly would if I had a good preamp (even if the TonePort UX2 and a very good start in the computer music without breaking the bank)
with a higher budget I would have left a choice of high quality but unfortunately ...........

I bought one a year ago for decision-voice (opera singer)
Quality Seeing me impressed, I bought a second to have a couple for recording large numbers choral and orchestral with the advantage of using all the different techniques of stereo miking (ORTF, AB of omni and many more ...)

In this context of use, this microphone couple wonders. Chosen according to the directivity and the distance to the source, the sound can be powerful in cardio, very deep and pervasive belief accurate and "open" setting in the heart between the position and figure 8.
Assets:
- Build quality (it is beautiful!)
- His very detailed with a wide spectrum both in acute severe (more than the NT5 of the same brand already good). Now I think a good preamp (tube) would be ideal to realize its full potential!
- Directional and variable high pass allowing an infinite number of combinations
- The price still reasonable for what he brings to the decision in terms of quality

the (small) unless:
- His weight requires a solid footing (as a couple to 4m high with the public in a church must have a very good material!)

OVERALL OPINION

2 years of use for different recording sessions. I use it for making his voice, acoustic and electric guitar and piano.

I find this mic great for all situations. Just out the set and the proper position.

I love the grain it has in the treble and presence he brings a voice. I think for the price it is hard to find a microphone as good a character as frank. only flaw a lack of clarity in my taste in serious but hey you can not ask for the moon for that price!

I have some friends who lent me other mics of this type (KSM Shure, AKG), but the sound of the Rode my favorite, the others are very good, but the choice is personal ...

Super versatile!
A large diaphragm microphone to comply with all conditions of registration of its tonal qualities and technical completeness of its matches.
Solid and strong, it seems indestructible ... but very heavy! This is the reverse of the medal and the only "fault" that I found. But it throws: It's really a beautiful object.
Guarantee 10 years: It's always good to take! And then we can always convert back pestle or hammer clipboard if one day ...

I've had a year and I'm delighted. This is my first "large diaphragm".
I like the sound, quality, scalability ... An investment for life!
Excellent value for money as it is a tool with unique qualities and super full.
I would do without hesitation that choice, I also buy a 2nd account for me make a stereo pair.

The Rode NT2000 is a large diaphragm condenser microphone designed for use in the recording studio.  I wouldn't use this mic outside the studio at all and I imagine that most would be smart enough not to do so anyway.  It has three knobs on it that each control a different aspect of the mic.  It has one to choose your pick up pattern (between figure eight, cardioid, and omni) and it also has a high pass filter and a pad.  Beyond this there isn't much to learn about the characteristics of the mic...

OVERALL OPINION

I've only used the Rode NT2000 a few times, but in the few times that I have used it I have really liked what I have heard.  I have used it in a home studio to record vocals and it definitely did the job quite well.  It paints a pretty accurate portrait of the sound that you are recording as I found that it will pick up a good amount of detail.  It is more of a clean mic than a warm one as is the case with most solid state microphones, but this is a good thing as far as I'm concerned as I can get warmer sounds from a tube mic and I usually look for a cleaner sound from mics like this.  It is definitely cool to have all of the options in the same spot on the mic so you can easily access them and mess around with the different pick up patterns.  While I've only used this mic for vocals and one time as a room mic for recording electric guitar, I believe that because of the detail that it has it will be a good fit for just about any application that you would want to use a large diaphragm condenser mic for.  The price of the Rode NT2000 isn't all that expensive when compared to most microphones of this caliber, making it a great choice for home studio owners.  Rode makes some great sounding mics that are very reasonably priced so I would definitely recommend checking out the NT2000 and the other mics that they have to offer if you are looking for a great mic or two on a budget.
