A nice guitar that just fell short for me.

This is an American made guitar that has been under Fender ownership for some time now. It is equipped with an original Floyd Rose double locking tremolo in a chrome finish. The guitar is a neck thru body design and the neck is made of quarter sawn maple. It is topped off with a 24 jumbo fret ebony fret board and has the characteristic mother of pearl shark fin inlays. The neck is speed contoured with a compound radius fret board meaning the radius goes from 9.25 to 14 from nut to 24th fret. The neck is speed contoured with a compound radius fret board meaning the radius goes from 9.25 to 14 from nut to 24th fret. The pickups are made by Seymour Duncan and consist of a JB TB4 at the bridge, and a classic stack single coil sized hum bucker in the middle and neck position. The classic stacks are capable of producing single coil tone while using negative hum coil to reject noise. There are two control knobs responsible for master volume and master tone. Pickup selection is achieved through a 5 way selector switch. The guitar is a 25.5 scale instrument and the model I owned had a maple top over an alder body. The maple top only comes on transparent finishes so all other non transparent models are solid alder.

    UTILIZATION

The guitar is designed to be a shredders dream so there is full access all the way to the 24th fret with no issue. The compound radius design allows for the best of both worlds. Chording on the neck remains easy on the lower register while still providing swift playability is assured towards the upper frets. The action can be set lower relative to a regular fret board without worry of fretting out of difficulty in voicing chords. The guitar has a nice overall sound to it. It is a bit more aggressive than a standard Stratocaster and has more a good articulate feel to it. The design is very comfortable against the body and is at home on a knee or over the shoulder for a long session. All and all it is a good guitar but nothing really stands out sonically in my opinion.

    SOUNDS

I used this guitar with a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, an Ampeg VL-503, a Peavey XXX, Amplitube 2, and Gutar Rig 3. Although the sound was quality in nature it did not suit my taste. It did have areas it was impressive in such as the playability but either the maple top or the pickup selection were not to my liking. Possibly I expected more from the instrument as many people do love it and it was not a poor sound it just did not "do it" for me. The best sounds I found on it were heavy rock and dirty lightly overdriven tones. I found my Stratocasters and Telecasters covered blues and cleans far better and I had other guitars that played metal better.

    OVERALL OPINION

The thing that disturbed me most about this guitar was the quality of the parts. While the body and neck were impeccably finished I found issue with the control knobs and 5 way switch. I had originally tried a used model out and was disappointed to find the 5 way was inoperable in 2 positions as well as missing the plastic tip and the pots seemed very wiggly, as if they were in desperate need of tightening. I attributed this to the previous owner’s lack of care and ordered a new model. I was very disturbed to find within days of ownership that I was constantly opening the guitar up to tighten the volume pot in and the 5 way was already showing signs of failing, very scratchy and needed to be jiggled in and out of position to get a full contact. For a guitar of this price point there sound be no issues whatsoever in my opinion. After a week I decided the instrument was not for me and I returned it. I understand things on a guitar may need replacing or modifications applied to get the instrument the way you want it but when you are starting at a $2,000 plus price point the instrument should be a good fit for the purchaser and modifications should be something that is grown into. I really wanted to own this guitar but knowing what I know now I was not a good fit for that particular axe so take what I say with a grain of salt. If you are interested you should try one yourself before making a large monetary investment.

When I saw this guitar in the Jackson catalog, I just had to have it. I haggled with Musician's Friend over the price and ended up paying somewhere around $1150 for it with a free case!

I love the way this thing plays. The through neck, super low action, and smooth ebony fretboard make for great playability and awesome tone. The locking original Flyod Rose NEVER goes out of tune. And it's easy as hell to make this guitar scream.

There is nothing that I don't like about this guitar, except for a slight double-noting on the third string on the upper frets (16-18).

I've had this guitar for quite some time, and it's as solid as the day I bought it.

If you want a great guitar for shredding, this is the one to have. I only wish it had come with EMG's in it, the only thing I would change. All around though, a fine instrument, and it's made in the U.S., what more could you want?

Only the Floyd rose its a hell of a thing to take the off the put in the strings so on and so forth.

Its a neck-thru body very sweet. The quality of this guitar is pure 100% killer i have never played or seen a guitar better than this. The quility is a supreme force that towers over the rest. It is a start style which is always comfertable. The electronics are well put together and the hard ware is great.

If you have money to blow or even if you dont get this it is pure and great. But is you are not skilled it would be a waste. Plus the Floyd rose is a problem but it is better than the problem. SO GET ONE NOW our a DK-2 or SL-3 both great.

    UTILIZATION

Seems like these have been the prototypical "super strats" forever. Shredders everywhere pretty much agree, whether they use them or not, that these are the original deal. I have the swirl model, which I think looks pretty darn cool. The finish on these, by the way, is very very nice. And for 2k I think it should be. Jackson USA has not diminished very much in quality over the years. This is a well appointed axe. Ebony on the fingerboard feels good. The fretwork is great. Action and tension are good. I have never been a huge fan of alder bodies, but with the set thru neck it kind of works. I like the neck on these SL1's okay. It's kind of like a fender neck that has been tapered more toward the body. The compound radius is a nice touch. I wish everyone would make them like this.

    SOUNDS

This is not gonna sound like a les paul guys. Thru neck or not, we are talking about an all maple body and neck with alder wings. It's gonna sound like a buzzsaw. I'm not a huge fan of the JB pickup, but in here it actually sounds pretty decent. It's not overly fat in this guitar. This tone will cut...and I mean that. No muddiness allowed here. Single coils are stacked. So you won't get any literal single coil or fender sounds out of the sl1. Kind of a bummer really. But then again, who is gonna want that with this guitar?

    OVERALL OPINION

You are pretty restricted with what styles of music you can do with a guitar like this. Even in the studio it's off limits for anything other than rock or metal. I think it would benefit from a pickup change, not because the stock pickups are bad, but because I would just like something different. Build wise, this guitar is worth the asking price. No real flaws anywhere on it. I have had JAckson USA stuff that I was not happy with, but fortunately this one is flawless. I would say try before you buy. You never know what junk might come in the mail.

The guitar is heavy but the ergonomics (partly thanks to the form strato) is almost perfect, guitars jackson problem: I think the potart volume is too close to the bridge, it bothers me sometimes.

The Seymour Duncan pickups are a bit noisy (too many mediums, little heat) to my taste, but I think I can find a satisfactory adjustment.
Finally after a few weeks of use, nothing to say about the sound ... Evidemmment if the search of his warm and dripping gibson it will go his way. Harmonics emerge from splendid way.

8 / 10 for the volume knob bothers me when I want to play the hand on the bridge. For a guitar this price is unforgivable!

    SOUNDS

    - Yes it suits my style of music, I have to sell my old jackson now.
    - Amp Tube class A and A / B.
    - Crystal clear sound and powerful microphone with acute sounds warmer with micro handle simple ...
    - Lots of harmonics and sustain, it is much appreciated.

    10/10.

    OVERALL OPINION

I have been using less than a week, I will put this assessment over the day my discoveries with this guitar.

    - I prefer particularity: neck-very comfortable, very good sustain and harmonics.
    - Features I like least, the volume knob would be MRIT to 2cm below the bridge, in order not to interfere with the game

    - I have tried many other models before acqurir not found a guitar that suits me better without going through the custom shop ... And can not afford to go through the Custom Shop.

    - Guitar normment CHRE ... But I think it's worth, the finish is impeccable. I would say that the report is qualitprix OK.

    - With the exprience I would do this choice with his eyes closed, it is the ultimate guitar I wanted.

Jackson USA Select Soloist SL1Published on 10/02/11 at 15:27
This is the standard guitar that Jackson has released for who knows how long. This particular guitar is one of the few that actually has an air brushed graphic on it to help make it stand out a bit more from the pack. It's a bit more "metal" than some of the other ones. UTILIZATION

The guitar had a really nice weight to it. It wasn't too heavy, and it balanced nicely. The access to the higher frets is awesome thanks to it being a neck-thru design. I was able to get to the 24th fret without any issues at all. The fretwork on this was top notch, too. The frets were properly leveled, and the neck was perfectly straight. I got some real sick action with this, and it was a real blast to play. The floyd on this is an original floyd rose, and that happens to be one of my favorite floyds ever made. It just feels right to me for whatever reason. The flutter is one of the best in the industry, too.

    SOUNDS

The guitar had a fairly bright and bitey sound to it, and a lot of this is thanks to the body wood combination. The guitar had a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge and Classic Stack singles in the neck/middle position. The JB in the bridge was great at being able to do any style you can think of. Despite this looking fairly menacing, this guitar can do anything from blues to death metal, assuming you have the right amp. That said, the JB in this was a bit bright, and I would probably swap it out with something else to help make the guitar thicker. The Classic Stack pickups are pretty cool in the neck and middle positions. I was able to get some really nice clean tones and decent lead tones with these. However, I would have preferred a Hot Rails in the neck position.

    OVERALL OPINION

It's a very intimidating looking guitar, but don't let looks fool you. This guitar can really do nearly any style you can think of with the correct amp pairing. The one thing you need to pay attention to is the price. These are pretty expensive new, so I recommend buying used. You'll get the best deal that way. The guitars are fairly consistent, so buying sight unseen isn't too much of an issue like it used to be back during the Fender transition years.

Note the volume loss when switching from double to single (corrected rhaussant microphones simple and lowering the double the height of the strings).
In saturated is a pleasure rel. While the sound is not as big as my pais and Les Paul Studio, but it is trs sharp, clean and neat, compact trs. S'enchanent plans with a fluidity rare whistling harmonics with a rel happiness
The floyd trs sensible about it and performs perfectly his office.
Obviously that must have sounded the gear derrire: test before you buy a Ibanez Valbee, the sound clear but silent drinking littralement shit (my words and I PSE) in saturated ( no tuft edge). On my Systm pramp Mesa, Engl and Poweramp baffle the SL-1 Mesa breathes and expresses its pontentiel

    OVERALL OPINION

Finally a good trs guitar in the style of Super Start this level there's not much.
    - Music Man Silhouette: I too tried to speak, when I see mine reu
    - Vigier Excalibur: unquestionably the best of its clear, with more brilliance and slamming, but far trs derrire the SL-1 with respect to saturation.

And as Vigier, acqurir US Soloist is a trs expensive: be between 2000 and 3000 in nine around 1500 in OCCAZ '.
But in the end still has a good scratch, designed for saturation. With a mahogany body and a handle a bit more pais, I would have been 10, but hey 9 is also excellent.

Jackson USA Select Soloist SL1Published on 09/23/11 at 07:44

    UTILIZATION

Jackson's neck-thru design is wonderful. There is absolutely no issues at all with getting to the higher frets. Those of you who had issues with the Dinky DK1 will probably be looking into either this or the SL2. The really cool thing about this is that it has a compound radius. That means that chording on the lower register is much easier to do, and big bends on the higher register won't fret out like they would on a normal radius. The fretwork on this guitar is usually really good, too.

    SOUNDS

This is probably the most versatile guitar that Jackson offers. The guitar comes equipped with Seymour Duncan pickups, and the pickups are awesome. In the bridge, you have the iconic Duncan JB. This has a bit of a searing quality to it, and while it's not super tight, it's just tight enough to work with most any style out there. In the middle and neck, you have the Duncan Classic Stack pickups. These are very versatile single coils that can deliver nearly any tone you're looking for. While most people associate Jacksons with metal, this guitar can really do it all thanks to its versatile configuration.

    OVERALL OPINION

If you're looking for one of the most versatile guitars that Jackson has to offer, you should really check this model out. While I generally prefer the Dinky guitars due to their bolt-on construction, the Jackson Soloist is a great guitar that should be able to do nearly any style you'd like.

I think the SOLOIST SL1 is part of what is currently the best in the world of guitar Contents SERIES. It is these myths that no longer require Submitted in the same way as some fender or gibson. You know those guitars that have been proven through the management, trs often imitated but never scab. In short, a risk-free purchase.

Personal I am fortunate to have an unusual SERIES with the famous dress "snakeskin" (snake skin) the most beautiful effect with a finish and a curve irrprochable die for.

    UTILIZATION

The neck-through is really the highlight of this guitar is THE ultimate race: Aesthetics, comfortable, fast! It was my ide what is the best in the handle SERIES Contents (with sleeves ibanez prestige in the stiffness tuning stability and more solid).

Bne really brings down more indisputable. If Vigier Excalibur (a manufacturer franais, respect!) Are not far derrire Accessibility assistive technology software in terms of the acute and idalie dimensions, they are still a notch below seems to me there .

    SOUNDS

The micro Seymour D. bridge (Jeff Beck) is absolutely monstrous in its saturated REFERENCE is the distortion in terms of both net, brutal, powerful and effective.

The projection is qu'norme and harmonics fuse everything goes in all directions. I find much other suprieur REFERENCE like, the EMG (active 81). The output level is no more but the lev Personal is the appointment: an indescribable indfinissable that gives her a dimension supplmentaire. At least that's my opinion.

The clear sound is more than respectable (considering the quality of the electronic board and the nobility of matrieux utiliss, the opposite would be a shame) but it remains even when far from a JEM7V with its famous micro EVOLUTION fulfilling more space, especially on scne. A good chorus crystalline amliore trs much difference.

    OVERALL OPINION

I use this guitar with a Mesa Boogie Rectifier Vox ToneLab SE and one for effects.

It's the sound of ultimate Contents disto (I was looking for so many years). It is also an abyssal chasm for the wallet, but when the music REPRESENTATIVES passion of your life, well worth the investment. In addition it is the purchase of a lifetime, so ...

The must is to arrive on scne to see everyone occupsa discuss them, then a simple little riff lcher and see the heads turn towards you with a look of bewilderment and hallucinating so the sound is the appointment and this without having to dub the sound!

The dress of the soloist comes in many colors. The snakeskin is really beautiful but be careful because some may get tired quickly of reasons. The black is beautiful particulirement mtal for groups (by the way we see our friends often hairy) and the blue is enchanting with its trs DGRAD and ribs.

However, Count 150 200 euros more for a finished design.

I have long personal hsit with JEM7V found a new 2200 and Euro 1600 and has OCCAZ LAG Arkane prestige of our friend Michel 2000 CHAVARIAT.

The sound is absolutely wonderful but the curves and the illuminations of 7V are a little "Kitch" I got with the riffs and dnotent dvastateurs of mtal (whether symphonic gothic progressive or heavy). In addition, ibanez matrial to my mind are sometimes rather dubious, especially when you see how every little "pet" accidental causes cracks, scratches and various dcollements.

If I trust Fully Iba mid-range with the best quality in the world prices for the range RG. The premium should remain Reserved other brands including policy Contents factory finishing and assembly is much more even when srieuse, and applies rigorous.

In addition, on JEM Most recent internship, has become the key rosewood and not bne. If this leads to a sound a bit rounder and warmer, nothing ever n'galera bne for solis net, bright and sharp.

When LAG, the delivery dlais taient too long.

Besides, if Michael is a good trs manufacturer whose expertise in terms of a violin will always REFERENCE undeniable, even when a commercial is pretty average as it leaves his Arkane prestige to 2000 ngocier in the black box of 3000 euros a prs and sometimes even much more in store ... Totally amazing price for this guitar, trs certainly well made, but the initial cost of production (I had the chance to visit the factory Bdarieux) would be the dj bn profits by selling half CHRE. These satans intermdiaires margins and those pesky ... In certain environment, it is far from the passion of music and there are other bonuses that intertidal ...

What I believe is the invoice DEFINITIONS General for the instrument. The SL1 SOLOIST is dense (yet it is of alder and mahogany is not, but what is monstrous density) solid, heavy, which leads inevitably to sustain the devil (and a lower strap Rambour well).

What a pleasure to let rsons ternam an ad E minor at the end of the song ... I still have chills alone evokes the ...

In short, a trust for purchasing a beautiful guitar. What you ask for?

Fender stops that may be taking us for neuneus selling this guitar prs of 3500 euros. It's amazing when connate the cost of manufacturing in the US workshops.

Any fawn, to order this guitar unites a US import is the only solution because even with the customs taxes (applied to the overall price GUITAR + postage remember which) of 19.6% + 4% tax for CATEGORY "instruments", the economy remains more than substancial! It's always good to know

    SOUNDS

I play this guitar for 3 days I made a repeated four hours yesterday so I can leave a first review "hot"
I play the "pop rock" every now and then a blues ... I play a Peavey VK112 with a few pedals ...
I wanted a guitar that allows me to play: Smoke on the Water, Jump, Europa, Black velvet short .. a versatile scraper edge well into the mix in distortion, but able to clear his "stratabound" in pieces + cool. .. I must admit, this guitar is stirring in the register saturated ... The bridge pickup tears the mix .. It cruncher in my amp clean channel ... When the positions down the sound swells gently to the micro handle. The neck pickup is perfect for serious rhythmic saturated (it is actually a single humbucker format) ...
In summary the guitar is doing with honors in saturated but does not make clear its arms.
I put 9 for a clear sound (small) just below the saturated

    OVERALL OPINION

So I use it for 3 days ...
I like the look spangled black shark teeth binding
I love her in saturated tones that make me a glimpse of the horizons of metalheads.
I leave my guitar in its case and retuned back the next day, do 2 or 3 dive bombig and nothing happens!
What I like least is the price but it is the part of the dream ...
I tried many guitars before this one: I sold a beautiful Jcustom to buy it .. I have an original excalibur is less punchy ... I had a gibson, a PRS, a strat American ...
The value for money is good hand ..
I would definitely do it again this choice for now ;-)

This is the grandfather of all modern shred guitars. This guitar features the traditional shred Jackson layout. This guitar has an alder body with a neck through maple neck. The fretboard is ebony with 24 jumbo frets and sharkfin inlays. The fretboard has Jacksons awesome compound radius design. Up top you get a locking nut for the original Floyd Rose down at the bottom. The pickups are Seymour Duncans all around in an HSS configuration. The bridge pickups is a JB while the neck and middle are classic stack stacked humbuckers. The controls are typical with a volume and tone with a 5 way blade selector.

    UTILIZATION

These guitars have been some of the best playing guitars since the 80s. They have a real old school shred quality to them. With the compound radius fretboard you get great playability on both ends of the neck. With the compound radius both ends of the neck have a different feel and different radius. The low end of the neck by the headstock has a rounder radius which makes playing chords easier and more comfortable. On the higher part of the neck by the pickups the radius is much flatter. This lets you get a really comfortable action up by where you would be playing leads. This with the neck through design means there is nothing getting in the way of your playing.

    SOUNDS

HSS is not my favorite configuration but it is way better than SSS atleast. The pickups they put in this guitar are good nontheless. The natural tone of this guitar is on the brighter end with the alder body and neck through maple neck. The JB with the stacked humbuckers give you buckets of tone and tons of options when it comes to sound. The stacked humbuckers have sort of a single coilish sound but without all the noise. The JB in the bridge is a classic bridge position Seymour Duncan. It is one of the best hot rodded PAF designs on the market. You can do anything from metal to blues with the JB. The stacked humbuckers are a great alternative to real single coils. They still retain a single coil vibe but are as quiet as a humbucker. I am not the biggest stacked humbucker fan. They dont really have the output of a real humbucker. I think they just came up with them so they could have a quiet pickup that looks like a single coils. I would have preferred some rail mini humbuckers in the neck and middle to match better with the JB.

    OVERALL OPINION

Its great that Jackson puts out some high end lefty guitars for players. Most company just put out their beginner junk for lefties with no mid to high end stuff. Now left handed people can enjoy the great playability and modern classic tone of a Jackson Soloist SL1. This guitar is one of the few 80s models that are still made today with hardly any changes to the design. There isnt much you could change anyway the design was pretty much perfect from the beginning.

It also has a 5 positions slecteur a gold-plated switches (S, SS, S, SH, H)-with which we can have fun if you like the breast, as all three pickups are Duncan 4 drivers yes even the 2 single coil pickups that have actually two coils to annihilate each noise type parrasites Noiseless-
Example: split the bridge pickup on the 2 position (power and heaviness) to find a sound strat typ (Crystal clear and deep). It can do everything, so with the possibility to split the "JB" ...

    UTILIZATION

The handle has a lightweight U-section course that is comfortable for the back of it. For the radius of the button is duly! is one-Compound 12 "to 16" radiused fingerboard, is that it is progressive! and feels. It is a comfort, a precision and a jouabilit that has nothing to do with the Start or other Ibanez (neck end and also of the same scale).
Head of the nut and measure 42.8 mm dernire fret 57mm.
The heel of the neck (join with the body) is totally absent, "neck thru body" forces, this gives an impression molding perfectly ergonomic and provides remarkable ease to browse the handle, especially since the notches are very s decision. They come together to form a bow in the back of the guitar, so everything is smooth.
Rac drawing the contour and size of gupe that focus much ground in the middle of the body offered him an excellent balance. The body is not of great size and alder makes this guitar an instrument trsrsonnant. The CONTRL are just below the hands, with buttons in metal. One could reproach him for having a too slecteur moves away too prs and volume of the bridge, but it's a matter of habit. Quickly found its mark and were not lost more when we finally s'aperoit that it is screwed. Its use in the field is scne prdilection.

    SOUNDS

Its look is rsolument "mtaleu" and it sounds delight, although the sound of two single coil pickups allow for radical change in climate. The scale of 25-1/2 "(648mm) provides a brilliant and rich in harmonics. Play with rope pulling 10-52, it is powerful, prcise with low striking.
    For dtail:
In clean sounds, the sensitivity of the microphones offer superb nuances Duncan games. the Classic Stack restore done all the fullness of its vibrational energy. The JB will Confre of a personality I do not know what's hot, a tomb with a chorus of quality on the 4 and 2 position!
In saturated sounds, it's potatoes! and subtleties are still Submitted. It prcis, sharp in the treble, although possible in the low to the ground, and the balance of the sensitivity of the microphones prserve dynamism. Plate, fly mtalliques, fast riffs and much heavier, artificial harmonics, you name it, it's perfectly poustouflant and Defines. Played on a Rectifier is the sound of mtal! The true, the good.
Over time we see that Floyd is really the best invention in terms of vibrato. Couple the ease and rapidity of the handle, you can run with pleasure on the paths of hsitation sounds and senses ... This scraper is a pome ...

    OVERALL OPINION

The guitars are still neck-through instruments of exceptional and expensive. Note that Jackson is among the most COMPTITE manufacturers, offering equally outstanding finish with high quality Facilities.
Here we have a guitar with gnreusement power, precision, quick and expression, all in a true face. COD is good like it or not.
Mine is Cosmic Black (fine mat-so nice !!!-) Cosmos Black with fittings of all beauty and overlays, to logo, Mother of Pearl White Mother of Pearl.
I also possde Telecaster Custom FMT, a Stratocaster and an Epiphone SG Eletist. The Tele is a joyful ease. I love playing the Start, I have customs for more personality and versatility. And I like the SG particulirement for its Gothic spirit. But these wonders, it is the soloist I like most with its typical look and rac. Quite simply, every time I open my briefcase (trs of good quality by the way) and I see her on a bed of velvet, I can not pronounce a m'empcher Waaa ... And when I my all against me I feel both powerful and impressive ... It is what the guitar Lamborghini cars. DSOL-for comparison-

They gave the neck the wide and flat dimensions of a Les Paul neck and an ebony fretboard configured with a compound radius. The compound radius allows the for great playability on both ends of the neck. Near the headstock on the low end the radius is 12 inches which means the fretboard is slightly more curved up there to make playing chord shapes more comfortable. Near the high end the radius is 16 inches which makes shredding and lead playing effortless. They threw on 24 jumbo frets and at the other end installed an Original Floyd Rose tremolo system. When it was finished they had the ultimate shred guitar. Before long everyone was copying the design but the original is always best. The Soloist SL-1 is still around today with all these same features. The Soloist SL-1 today comes with A Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge and two Duncan Classic stack humbuckers in the middle and neck. It has master tone and master volume knobs from CTS with a 5 way Fender style blade pickup selector made by switchcraft.

    UTILIZATION

The SL-1 is a purpose built shredding machine. Everything is designed for you to play faster. The neck-through design is a feature I love and wish more guitar makers would use. The wood for the neck goes all the way through the body and the top and bottom of the body are glued to the side of the neck piece. With this construction there is virtually no neck joint which makes playing up at even the highest frets as easy as playing at the middle of the neck. Not only does this construction let you not have a bulky neck joint it also increases sustain as the pickups are mounted directly to the same piece of wood as the neck. The original Floyd Rose is the original double locking tremolo system and its still the best. When properly setup this system will never go out of tune.

    SOUNDS

THese guitars are very versatile in their sound. They can do any type of music. Coming with quality Seymour Duncan pickups from the factory put its ahead of most companies guitars which just come with in-house pickups. The middle pickup allows you to emulate strat tones while the bridge humbucker lets you rip it at high gain for all your metal songs. The original Floyd Rose lets you do all your crazy tremolo divebombs and it will never leave you out of tune.

    OVERALL OPINION

This is one of the few shred guitars that is still USA made. Many of the people building them now are the same people who built them 20 years ago. The quality was there then and its still there now. The SL-1 is a guitar that is made to play and build to play anything.
