This is a microbe in a pedalboard, but like all microbes, it is rather balaize! Just a volume knob, its jack connectors in and out, a 9 volt power supply input, and yes, the microbe is so microscopic that it is not possible to insert a stack him.

UTILIZATION

How to tell? We just reached the top of the pinnacle of simplicity. The only difficulty is to get it out of the box. Level use, when I say that this is a looper for guitar, it's the truth. SOUND QUALITY

One word: Awesome! Great because it is super easy to use, super compact so easily locatable in your pedalboard, and the sound is really good. It is the ideal tool to work, create, play and accompany solo anthology.
5 minutes maximum recording is ample, with over dubs unlimited ... on the other hand when we do what we call a big cream cake, ie 50 over dubs, it is normal that the result is disgusting especially when using the same sound.

OVERALL OPINION

I bought it when it came out, and I did well. Me, I constantly walk over, I run a small accompaniment that goes well, and I balance some fiery solos over. In my use, I rarely exceed 3 over dubs. I use it mainly rhythm guitarist. I'm sure it's thanks to him that I progressed. on the other hand, in a group, it is a bit more complicated. Must drummer eats metronomes at breakfast, otherwise ... it's a disaster.

UTILIZATION

Use could not be more simple and intuitive. Success in ergonomics: 1 knob for level 1 footswitch for equities, 1 led for information.
The operation of the footswitch is in standard loopers pedals (record => game => overdub).

SOUND QUALITY

This is THE feature for which I acquired this looper.
I previously had two Boss RC-3 RC-300 two excellent products except incidentally in the main for my taste, namely the quality of sound reproduction. Boss err on the quality of the sampling loops, not to mention they are not true bypass and transform the signal even when they are not used (and need to be plugged in / on).
Ditto is the opposite of the Boss features a minimum and maximum sound quality.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a year, having owned and used the Boss RC-3 and RC-300.
Bosses are much more feature rich but this abundance of features was more anti-creative and inspiring for me, not to mention the quality of the return of samples and bypass far from transparent.
Ditto is the tool for me (almost) perfect: quality sampled sound and ergonomics PoussMouss ("You push it and foam") which is my line of conduct in my entire musical practice gear level.
I can add one caveat, which is not really as a shortcut: To use Live more, stopping the loop double tap is difficult to manage - that is why I think replace the Ditto X2, only the second configurable in Stop footswitch. But for home use and others to repeat his work improvisation, composing, etc.. this is the perfect tool: it knows how to forget, both in handling and in its sound reproduction. And as a musician, that's all we ask.

SOUND QUALITY

The recorded loop is exactly the same, I feel to hear me play! As is the goal ...... (:
When a loop is running (my rhythm for example), the sound of my solo is not changed.

Usually I do not put my rhythm loop to go solo, even a small arpeggio more to build my rhythm but one day at a concert, I allowed myself to improvise with loops:
-A bass line with my guitar tone 0
-An arpeggio with acute boost
-A "skank" reggae
-Some agreements with many delay
-A "support" of the rhythm agreements with large 6-string (open D) full of fuzz and played bottleneck (big big sustain)
All this in order to send a Hendrix solo ...

The cumulative effects made a big sound slurry fuzz and delay mingled and public grinning!
In short, to build complex pieces with lots of effects is not good looper. For more simple loops, you can put many overdubs without problem ...
I even read a test that mentioned 23 overdubs!

Despite this shortcoming, I have not bought it (I should have kept my Jamman), I took it for its transparency (selling # 1) and I'm not disappointed (I'm even surprised! !)

OVERALL OPINION

I had a Jamman I eventually sell because I do not exploitais to its full potential. When I saw the Ditto out, I told myself that this is what I needed and he is perfect starting point!
I would advise the Boss loopers to build pieces but to keep a rhythm during a solo, arpeggio, or to add a track to the rhythm or to work at home, the looper need you!

Know what you want before you buy it, it has nothing in common with the other loopers market but if you want a looper for the uses described above, its transparency and simplicity make the number 1.

Looper hyper simplissime. Recording function / loop 5 minutes. More than enough to use that I have. A loop of one minute is already very long.

UTILIZATION

Very simple configuration. I press 1 and it saves time, 2 times and it loop. I pressed again and overdub. I press 2 times quickly and it quits. Finally I press 2 times quickly and I let my foot support and it disappears.

SOUND QUALITY

This is the most transparent sound quality I know. I had other looper (RC3, RC50 ...) and there is no photo. The ditto is completely neutral and does not alter the sound of the guitar. The loops are the natural hyper shot. We do not see the difference between the loop and the sound played live. This is what I like most in this looper, its transparency.

OVERALL OPINION

It's been one month that I use. The only "negative" thing was that there is a memory recording. (Guarded when power is turned off).
Level value for money I do not know better.

If it again I would not hesitate one second! Go for it.

Pedal for direct, no possibility of dialogue with other interfaces (computer etc.)

UTILIZATION

1 button that does everything, it will be doing a lot with a little practice.
The only problems I encounter:
- 1 click = rec, 2 = long click undo. If we undo a rec too quickly after the machine interprets this as a court_long, = erase loop. Too bad, when you made that mistake the loop is not recoverable.
- The LED activity is very close to the switch => always hidden by the foot on the pedal. Particularly difficult not to see the color (red / green) in this case.

SOUND QUALITY

Largely as well as Jamman and RC20.
In theory the sampling is better.
To the ear I do not see any appreciable difference, but I use it on sounds very loaded effects.
We must be aware that these samplers are not champions of the overdub.

After a long month of use, I recommend if you are looking for:
- A super compact pedal (this is THE major issue for me)
- A device for live without persistent memory when it is disconnected
- A device that does not record multiple sound banks to recall

- Sound quality than up its larger competitors
- An attractive price
For me, it is exactly that, I eased my pedalboard a Jamman (which was indispensable before because I used much of the memory banks 100, but today this is no longer the case) . I know very well the RC20 also ... So in the case of use described above, I really strongly recommends small Ditto.

- Pedal loop, with 5 min of recording (one recording track) without overdub limit. An on / off switch and a volume knob to adjust the volume of the loop.
- 9V supply type boss, not possible on battery power, a USB port (for MAJ in TC).
- True Bypass.
- Format ultra mini, which is handy for not cluttering the pedalboard.
- The switch is very responsive and very sensitive (there is no strength, so no outside noise or the amp).
- For the manufacture I put a good 9/10, compared to what it offers (and how to sell TC), is no lie, no deception.

UTILIZATION

- One switch, one knob, how simple? The rapid manual explains how to record the loop, make a overdub, undo and redo one, stop the loop and clear. Very easy to understand and its very easy to implement.

SOUND QUALITY

- The sounds are the highlight of this pedal. Apart from the volume of the loop nothing changes. Grain is kept the same, the same intensity of play ... - My RC-20 xl I ate the whole dynamic of the guitar and the input gain saturated often so suddenly alive the geul loops.
- I had a big doubt about the sound quality, and less than an hour the doubt disappeared.
- And finally a looper which is quite usable live.

OVERALL OPINION

- I received it two days ago, I could try 3-4 hours, and I've realized the obvious I'm not about to remove it from my pedal board.
- Not only is the use of single arch, but the sound that say it's great, I do not feel that this is the looper plays the loop, there's really no sound loss and c ' is awesome.
- A remake I would buy earlier.
- The slightly more difficult to judge quality / price ratio, of course we would all pay less each time, but it looper (in nine) and probably one of the cheapest on the market (even compared to some other loopers secondhand). And even if there are others in a similar price or less I'm not sure that the level of quality he manages to align. So yes, the quality / price ratio looks good, I've paid more for products that are less convincing.

Small loop pedal very well built (made in Thailand) with loop 5 minutes max. Can be stacked without limits and loss (unless you stack too much in the same tone). Ability to import sounds usb plug. on the other hand, no ability to save its loops.

SOUND QUALITY

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a week and every day I find it hard to stop. Ultra simple, does not distort the sound, its small size allows embedding of a pedalboard full. I already have a Boss RC2 but I wanted a simple, effective, easy to slip into a pocket and allows working hot ideas at the moment. I dreamed .... TC.Electronic did! One small problem ..... and yet the price slightly overvalued. A price "ceiling" of 100 euros would have been okay ... even if perfection is priceless!

SOUND QUALITY

OVERALL OPINION

I use it recently, but I can do some things that did not allow me jamman. Here, everything is smooth, relaxed atmosphere, no stress, my curls enchainent perfectly effortless and I amaze myself.
Attention, this is a special guitar so no XLR (I regret a little but I do it). It is also a mini template: no other switch, so no phasing of the loop (for example).
Maybe TC Electronic should look equally simple version but with a second switch to stop loops.
