I got it at a local music center for about $260 american cause I needed a good cheaper electric and love les pauls. (les paul look)

i has a good look it has a pretty good tone and it looked like a les paul except for the price tag. it is durable (once it fell off the strap and the neck smashed into the ground and it looked good as new. when I got it the soft case came undone and the neck smashed into the ground and it was ok)so i was scared very much twice

it only has one tone nob, open coil pickups i prefer humbuckers,the strap nob thing is on a bad angle so you kinda need a lock strap

very durable see story above ingood things great construction except for strap nobs finger smudges are terrible but oh well get a polish cloth

its a great beginner Great gift guitar and they might think it cost you a lot more

I bought this guitar at a sam goodys about 5 months ago for $200. Big mistake.

Its about the weight range i like and it has pretty good tone. The stock control knobs are pretty cool and the tuners are original.

Almost everything. About a week after i bought it the input jack screwed up which cost a lot of money to repair. Then a month later the trust rod in the neck got bend.

The body is ok quality but mostly its plastic here. The neck is comfortable but it can slow you down sometimes.

If you've got some money to waste on a lp ripoff our your a guitar repairmen this guitar is for you. Otherwise I'd buy something else

First, I'm sorry if my english isn't pretty good, 'cause I'm from Chile...
I always wanted a Les Paul guitar, but I don't have the money. So, one day, I saw this guitar on a store here in Chile (named "Ripley") and it was at $125.000 in chilean pesos, something like $180 US dollars... So, I saw it on other store, called "Falabella" and it was on $140 US dollars, so, I bought it...

I like its body, it's beautiful. Something like Les Paul, but cheaper
It has a great sound, and if some effects are used, uff...
It has a very good sustain.
It's from Epiphone.

It's a little heavy, more than a typical Stratocaster.

It's a good guitar, if you know how to care a guitar.
It's a firm guitar, but take care of the paint, 'cause it scratches so fast.

I think that it's a great guitar for people that has not too much money, but that wants a heavy and clear sound. I recommend it, of course!

Epiphone is one of those guitar manufactures that basically builds exactly what Gibson already makes but does it more conveniently and cheaper and for budgeted musicians. Most of their instruments are basically the lesser version of the more popular and more heavily used professional instruments from Gibson guitars. This guitar is basically a knock off or a budgeted version of the Les Paul vintage instrument. They carried pretty much all the same features as far as the wood, the combination of volume and tone control knobs, as well as the two humbucker system. It's basically exactly like a Les Paul, but he just doesn't have that extra oommph that a Gibson Les Paul guitar carries.

SOUNDS


This guitar features mahogany wood in the body and neck. When you immediately grab this guitar you can feel how cheap and inexpensive the guitar is built. You can easily feel that the workmanship and that this guitar is not quite to the standards of a normal LP guitar. However, all of the tones and the general voicing is very similar and familiar to Les Paul guitar. So if you're running this guitar in combination with a clean amplifier then it's not really going to be that nice of a sparkly tone much like a Gibson Les Paul guitar. But if you're running any high gain or even medium gain setting and you're really going to feel how well this guitar performs in a more rock pop in metal typesetting.

OVERALL OPINION


These guitars are pretty inexpensive and you can find them for right around $200 online and in many guitar retailers around the world. This is a fairly inexpensive instrument and if you're not in the market for a real Gibson Les Paul then this is a decent alternative for under $200. This is also a guitar for someone who might be learning the guitar and you don't want to spend a whole lot of money just learning whether or not you even want to be a musician.

I've had two months
I like its shape and color (black), I regret the quality of less than mediocre mechanical
good value, € 211 it's cheap
I think I would do this choice, I do not want to have a Strat bcp as people around me

Access to acute is difficult but ... It is a Les Paul!
The guitar is very heavy ... When refitting, it seems to be very light .. lol
This guitar has no favorite style in particular ... She does all styles but it does not make them very well.
And finally the icing on the cake: you have to retune all the time, it's really **** in the long ch ...

SOUNDS

It does not suit my style of music is death metal. The pickups do not have enough potatoes and lack precision. For the distortion is a bit screwed. From what I've been told, a change of microphones will not be used so much better to buy a guitar entirely.

For clean sounds: All right, all is clean but I'm not a fan of clean sounds ...

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for about 2 years. The quality / price ratio is normal I think. At that price, you can not have it either!
In any case, I do not advise beginners: ca may disgust them a bit (because of the weight and size of the handle). But it is my opinion, maybe some people like to play a round of the size of a trunk lol.
Since this was my first guitar, I had not tried other models before. Now I regret because you can do better for the same price!

This is the entry level for Epiphone LP MODELS. there is only one volume knob and one of the Tone Reduces some versatility compared to other more standard LP.
slcteur the 3-position is at the bottom a little Manir of sg, the whole is rather well done and seems fairly robust.

UTILIZATION

The handle is quite comfortable pais but trs, Access in acute enough ais I find from other LP more of this special avantge ft (and default) d 'lgre be much more than a standard making it easier to grip for beginners.
Ergonomics are good trs, dbout, the handle back up which allows the handle to have everything under control without having "soft" on my arm like a Tele or SG.
mcaniques's not good however, is dsaccorde without stopping and does not agree, we should consider changing them.

SOUNDS

This guitar feedback a lot, as saying that the output level is relatively lv (a little less than my ex-LTD any of the same). microphones sonrai drafts but keep the same road when little one is not demanding trs. Of transistor is flat and bland and sorely lacking in precision, but on any lights is best dj, sound more like what "is expected of an LP while on a transo like any guitar of this price range.
trs sounds are round and large, the neck pickup is the way our solos and the bridge is dbrouille in rhythm. micro intermdiaire however bad enough, without personality, and finally being uninteresting and never used.

OVERALL OPINION

In this price range, I think it's a good deal trs, for the look and finish trs correct. The ease of playing in his favor which is quite rare in an LP in order to be emphasized.
But his lack of versatility, his microphone a little rough and mcaniques "cheap" make this MODEL is especially advisable for beginners as for the price diffile to beat.

this guitar comes from Japan I believe, an easel with basic, no floyd rose, it is a copy lespaul, the neck has 22 frets and has 2 Epiphone humbuckers, 1 tone and 1 volume control!!

ESR this guitar for beginners, the handle is quite pleasant, even when we feel the frets but good for the price, do not ask too much! it is not too heavy and fairly well balanced, we get enough readily to acute (form requires lespaul) at his was seen worse, yes, it's true, it sends! sound is clear that drinking and distortion, it's already better! !

this guitar is made for rock and its derivatives! clear sound is not too cold, well balanced and saturated, the sound is relatively accurate (it's still mid-range microphones) and fat! j ' I played with this guitar amps perform on a 1000 marshall MG100 dfx!

I sold this guitar because no longer a beginner, I quickly reached its limits but still j'avous that, as time passes, different brands have successfully created entries range from very good bills and that hold the road, that's my opinion! what I liked most about this guitar, the sound is full, the price is very reasonable and worth a look! if I should buy this guitar, I would take just to start!
