guitar made in Korea (hence the name SE)
fixed bridge type "stoptail"
handle "wide fat" rounded profile slightly flattened in the center (like all models except SE Orianthi, bullfighter) but with the overlay "Bird" and then that changes everything! ^ ^
22 frets
micro PRS SE 245
2 tone knobs
2 volume knobs
1 3 position switch as a short LP
the color of my model and the "Sunburst tobbaco" which is a bit darker than the image on the site of PRS

UTILIZATION

It is a Les Paul type guitar!

Channel pleasant either alone or in rhythm. Weight and that of a Les Paul but that does not play a lot of hours standing. Access to the last fret is excellent (but not equivalent to the model type "Sabre" home Ibanez)

SOUNDS

I play mainly Heavy Rock US-style Alter Bridge, Nickelback, Creed, and I must admit that the microphone has a great versatility of the time that the metal tape not violent and hairy (that is not the EMG ^ ^). I should point out that with wha pedal (ibanez DW7) the sound and really fun and a little funk rhythms are a real treat = P.
Neck pickup: warm well rounded, very good response and good clean definition for the sweep picking
+ Neck pickup bridge: little used so I can not give an opinion ^ ^ but that does not mean that this position is rotten ^ ^
Bridge pickup: cold, precise, with good definition in its full.

Ps: I find it just as the bridge position for lack of punch power but this shredder and my opinion (which is also against my teacher told by ^ ^)

OVERALL OPINION

I play this guitar for 3 months now and I must say that pleasure is always present. My test may not be very accurate but all is not just that I tried a lot of guitar before it.
She really has a look to die for, whether for the table (tobacco sunburst) or "birds" on the handle.

The value for money is more than adequate in my opinion and the addition of high-end micro PRS (which I intend to do next with the Tremonti pickups) can embellish the already excellent sound of the beast.
I would definitely do it again this choice (in scarlet red).

For the price I bought it on DV247.fr (English site). The site is a very serious point that one of the sellers called me to warn me to join him on a future purchase following a note left on the forum from me on the cost of my bank for change currency (approx € 15)

PRS SE model with its guitar offers value for money especially interesting at the finish. Micro are medium range and take the road very well yet! I have to buy eyes closed and I advise you to do the same! ^ ^ =)

Ps: let me change my test if I discover new qualities or fault this guitar. so stay tuned!
