I,ve been making noise for over 20 yrs.I love it but I'm not so sure that my neighbors feel the same.Hey,if the only reason I played was to impress people I would have quit a long time ago.It's all about having fun!Bands?been there done that.Seems like there's always someone that takes things to serious(the Legend in thier own mind)and someone else that doesn't take it serious enough(the Flake)never fails,and just takes away all the fun.It's more fun to get a few people together and let the noise flow in whatever direction it may,Its all good. When I was younger I liked Heavy Metal and Hard Rock.Mellow was for sissies.Well now I'm turning into a sissie.I Love Stevie Ray Vaughn,Eric Clapton and even B.B.King and even worse I actually own a James Taylor CD,and I like it!

I bought this Guitar at Guitar Center.It was the last of the last(someone put it on layaway then flaked)I think it was around $500 maybe a dollar or so less.

The #1 thing about this guitar is(drum roll please)The Weight!!As far as I'm concerned All solid body electric guitars should be this light.Amazingly it still has great musical tone.I am impressed with the pickups.At first I thought they were a bit on the hot side,but after rolling the volume control back a tad and adjusting the tone control I'm able to get alot of different sounds.Almost reminds me of Bill Lawrance pickups.(If you haven't tryed them you should at least check them out).For a inexpensive guitar this has a nice fit and finish,better than most.

The neck is thicker and wider than I like.But I must admit this guitar still plays good.I've played it from night til dawn before and my hands were not sore like some guitars I've played(Epiphone L.P.comes to mind)

Very good for the price.It's made in Korea after all.NOT in USA(Memphis) or shipped from Mexico and asembled in USA(Corona)if you know what I mean,Vern?

I purchased this guitar new on ebay in July '03. I needed a new electric guitar, and wanted to try a PRS without spending too much money. I paid just over $400.00 US once everything was said and done.

The sound straight from the guitar without effects is great. Switching between the pickups provides several different sounds easily. The tone is clean and clear, with a nice sound overall.

The reason the price was so low for a PRS is because the guitar is made outside the US. Although solidly built, it doesn't have the same appeal as its more expensive cousins. Also, the sound from pickups is not as warm and full as from the pickups used on more expensives PRS guitars.

Very solid, well built. I haven't had it that long, and try not to abuse it, but I think this guitar could take a beating and keep on playing.

Overall, a good guitar for its price. Add some different pickups, and it would be a rocking piece of equipment. I would definitely gig with it.

Bought It from Guitar center for $499, however it cost another $200 for the case which i found expensive.

I like the fact that it has a very smooth and small neck, so its easier to slide on and play really fast solos on. It has a much thinner neck than a fender. I also like that the pickups give real power on treble, it has an awsome sound to it.

I dont like that when you place the guitar on rhythem the E(6) & A(5) strings make the amp buzz. I Think the people at PRS guitars should look at turning down the bass a little on treble. If you place it on treble, it does not sound very nice trying to play natural chords as the power of the pickups makes the sound of the stings fade together.

Very light compared to other electric guitars, Cheap compared to what you get for your money,
Nice contruction enabling you to play all the way down to the 22end fret. Easy to reaplce broken strings compared to other electrics as it is more like an acustic guitar to put the strings on.

Great for Power Chords and solos however not too Great for natural chords, unless you play on rhythem, but then you might aswell have an acustic guitar

SOUNDS


This guitar has a tone and warmth that is very soothing with a good overdrive pedal or high gain amplifier. This guitar features mahogany wood with a rosewood fretboard and has a very thick and warm tone. If you are used to the Gibson guitar such as Gibson Les Paul, Explore, or SG guitars then you're going to fit right in with these guitars as well. These guitars have a little bit higher and better clarity humbucker pickups than I've ever found in a Gibson guitar. It has a nice thick wide neck which gives a nice sustained and juicy tone with high gain amplifier. If you're using Marshall, Mesa Boogie, or any other high gain amplifier then these guitars will get you a very solid thick and juicy tone.

OVERALL OPINION


If you're a fan of Mark Tremonti, Alter Bridge, or Creed than this is probably going to be a guitar that you can lean towards. However if your not into signature gear PRS does makeLles Paul style guitars which are very similar to this without the signature on top of the guitar price. So therefore if you're into Mark and his sounds than this is probably a good fit for you, if not, PRS does offer many other guitars at competitive prices.

So the PRS is made in Korea (under the direction of a guy in prs it seems) it has 22 jumbo frets, micro bin .... you do not know actually! two hambuckers with a three position selector

OVERALL OPINION

I bought this guitar as my grate relief and Vigier is making trs old I replaced the prs I mm more gain with the prs! And it follows more and more with my new haircut then! I did not have a big budget nor the time to choose just 700 euros so the choice silent quickly, I pay 675 euros but I heard they can find around 600 , it is 4000 balls for that price it's all good!

This "small" PRS is built for the occasion in Korea.
22 frets and PRS Micro Hambucker 2 settings for volume and 2 tone others. A 3-position selector microphones is obviously present.

UTILIZATION

This guitar is very nice to grip and also relatively light. Soft, light make a guitar with much potential but "wise" in relation to a type Strato really makes a rock look.

The sound is clear both in the severe than in acute. The microphones are calibrated so that neither acute nor serious are highlighted more than enough.

SOUNDS

Style of playing more ac / dc nirvana, sum41, blink or the Linkin Park and other neo-pimply (^ _ ^) this guitar is great. It brings the fishing, the tone required for good riffs though "dirty".

Its clear, or saturated, the Tremonti SE but comfortable where they pose.

OVERALL OPINION

There are on point or it could be better, but that's why it costs 699euros and also offers Custom24 prs.

In short, this guitar is ideal for those who do not see a 2000 euro put in a good guitar. Finishing, look, quality and assure you of a PRS guitar quality, beautiful ....

OVERALL OPINION

Good good, calm down ... we face an impossible, an exemplary finish, microphones home quite satisfactory, but then with a Dragon II, we sit for 15 more days! It is light, handy, beautiful, good students (the cutting in the back is a winner), surprising because the handle is incredibly fast, and yet I swore by Jackson and Ibanez are not 1 month ... its level is nickel, the beast entering in the line of large metal a good alternative to the Gibson LP studio that costs twice ... My regret is not having a compartment Gibson SG ... considering the price, there is no hesitation, and if you fall over in OCCAZ, let you try ... for my part, I ais 2 months since I changed the knobs, I ' I do get a PRS Dragon II treble and I left the original serious is the nut a nickel ... t chang doing well and I saw the mieu ... price, should not expect perfection, but I expected not to this level of finish and performance ... I just bought one bar none stop action adjustable, it will soon mount this di ... if we leave it all original, it works with the fire of God ... UTILIZATION

The guitar is comfortable trs, both in terms of race, or body, and is quite lgre.
But be careful, although the handle is comfortable and enjoyable, it should be noted that it is quite pais, and can be dconcertant for those who usually handles quite thin Ibanez or Jackson type. The single player can be a bit more rvler hardu, but nothing mchant.

No part, it sounds great. For now, the guitar is pretty good impression in all points Whereas previous ones.
Neither one nor two, I plug the Tremonti on my Laney TF-200.
The clean sounds are convincing trs with the neck pickup, round, prcis, really nothing to say nickel.

The distortion is not complete invalid but frankly lack of PCHE, harmonics, precision is fat. It should possibly those who do not seek a distortion of metal, or to nomtalleux rigor, which have gnralement not need precision. But otherwise it is not enough I got.
An upgrade of the bridge pickup seems to me essential, the big weakness of the PRS Tremonti SE.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had two months, and I will put a PAF Pro to give it more potato.
But be careful, do not believe that this is a bad scratch scratch, clean sounds are really thundering, and the comfort was obviously one of t proccupations PRS, since it is much more comfortable than all guitars I've tried.
The quality-price ratio is good enough for the price I paid (508 new) but for those who paid more than 650 began to return expensive for the quality .
I would do this election if I had the chance, because the flat normment Aesthetics me, I'm a fan of Tremonti, and provided with a micro upgrade it sounds of thunder, has returned an excellent quality-price.

I played with for two years and the change of pickups is indniable if you really want to enjoy a range of sounds as I said I play mainly mtal but also involves other style I play on a Zen and I rgale amp with this guitar without having to 3000 eur for good sound choices that I would do without hesitation and I do not count me spar that MODEL is in REdition June following a trial against a gibson, trs good guitar.

I use it for almost a year and a half Elela has very good ergonomics, a good value for money ... I would do without hesitation ... the Coix at the base I entered the store to buy an Epiphone Les Paul, but I tried this one and I must say it has more punch and is much lighter / fine ...

Guitar trslgre I find such an extent that it tended from beginners forward (cot sleeve). Adquate through a strap, the pb is rsolu!
This cot so, this is NOT a Les Paul (5 kgs less !!!!!)

The sound?
Originally, not too bad ... but as said lower east trs "big sound" very serious pais micro, micro acute swinging the heavy (high gain). While in the style of the artist in short ..

I have some personal PROCD p'tits changes:
- Micro serious replaced by a DiMarzio Virtual PAF (DP197) and well and gentle crmeux in clean, a bit grumpy in crunch and saturated fat vintage ... Trs dynamic gnral ... I'm in love !!!!!!
- Micro acute replaced by a DiMarzio Humbucker From Hell (DP156), slamming, mtallique and just squeaking in saturation, while shaking well in a serious rhythm.
- Squirts knobs (the original ones: although Merd ****) to install two split, I end up with a super versatile scraper: the single or double, depending on the situation.
- Mcaniques exchange for blocking Spertzel: indeed, the original ones had weakness, resented the bends too strong, especially in the Sol.

With a, I scratched the perfect (for me ok ), a budget extension, but worth it, believe me!
Originally it is a good base, the violin is good trs, the changes are so useful.

3 stars for the original sound ... (lack of versatility)

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for two and a half years, and sincrement, I love it!
APRs have tried a lot of scrapes, including Yamaha and Ibanez possde, I must say that the trs trs suits me well ..

The default? some dsquilibre in rpartition weight of the connector jack a little cheap, the knobs "all or nothing" of origin, mcaniques a little feeble, too.

In return, look really nice, enjoyable trs a handle, an excellent violin (for the price).
8 / 10 original, and now 11/10!!

So yes, a choice I would do without hsiter.

Everything has been said in other reviews left. I would add just that for my part I love the look (the model for the black and silver model blah) and impeccable finish.

As I had no means of comparison, I found that is great for sound. Unfortunately, I just invest in a guitar equipped with micro emg (81 and 60) and since then it has to fall sharply in my estimation!.

It's been 3 years that I have. Compared to the price, I think she is not doing too badly and that a small change of microphones should highlight its qualities

Mark Tremonti is the Alter Bridge/Creed guitarist and he has been a pretty loyal PRS player for a few years now. He is one of the most well known PRS players in modern music so he has a few signature models to his name. This is the SE version. SE PRS guitars are made overseas but still retain the great feel and sound of their USA made counterparts. This guitar has a mahogany body with a mahogany set neck. The fretboard is rosewood with 22 medium frets. The neck has PRS's wide fat profile. The neck is also PRS's unique 25 inch scale. It has PRS in house pickups front and rear. The controls are unusual for a PRS since it has dual volume and tone controls. The bridge is a PRS wraparound design which they use on a lot of their guitars. The finish is a super deep black. Guitars dont need to come in any other color.

UTILIZATION

PRS guitars have a unique feel to them. This is mostly due to their wraparound bridges and their unique scale lenghts. The wide fat neck isnt as scary as it sounds. It is no where near as fat as a 50s Gibson. It is fatter than the wide thin PRS neck that I love. I find they are making less and less models with the wide thin neck. They have managed to perfect their simple wrap around bridges. This combined with the unique scale lenght gives these guitars very good intonation although if you are use to Gibson wraparound bridges you may not think so. The fretboard is fully bound and feels nice. The radius is pretty flat but it is not a total shredder. The guitar feels nice and solid.

SOUNDS

PRS throws in some decent pickups into their SE models. You can really tell everything on a PRS guitar is matched perfectly with every other part. Every part works together to get that unique PRS tone and feel that PRS players always brag about. I believe Tremonti uses Seymour Duncan pickups in his personal guitar so PRS has tried to get that sound with some of their stock pickups. The bridge pickup is pretty hot and open so you can get good over driven sounds. It has a lot of grunt to it. It is not the best pickup out there but by no means is it terrible. The bridge pickup is nice and solid for metal or classic rock. It does not clean up very well but that is common among high output pickups. The neck pickup compliments the bridge pretty well. It is decently hot but provides a smoother sound. This smoother sound lets the pickup get a good clean tone and also gives you lovely lead tones. Smooth leads just fly out of the guitar and you an really shred on it.

OVERALL OPINION

Mark Tremonti is one of the most popular PRS players nowadays and so he has a few signature models out. Since most of his fans are probably younger or working musicians the SE model provides them with a Tremonti signature that they can afford yet still has all the looks and feel of the real USA made model. This guitar with a swap of pickups can perfectly nail the Tremonti tone so this guitar is a great value because you can get this guitar for around 600 bucks while the real Tremonti signature is like 2600 bucks and even that one does not come with the real pickups he uses. So you can get this SE and spend a couple hundred bucks in pickups and have a closer Tremonti tone than what the USA model provides.

UTILIZATION

The handle is comfortable playing right, but it lacks a little speed.
The weight is significant for a Les Paul, the ergonomics are quite good.
Access to the treble is very easy I think.
More generally, I put a little time to adjust to this guitar but once you tame it is nice to play.
A small flat in mechanics, the guitar goes out of tune pretty quickly.

SOUNDS

I bought it to complete an Ibanez RG 350 that is in a completely different note, I wanted a guitar with a sound a bit more vintage.
Level violin, electronics, look ... I was not disappointed cons micro level it is a disappointment, I had read reviews that said it was the problem with this guitar, I can confirm.
Unfortunately I have not had the time and money to change them
Those currently on the guitar missing fishing too and are not suitable to the guitar in my opinion, we feel it has more to give than what the microphones offer, thus providing € 150 / 200 more for new pickups.

OVERALL OPINION

I have now for 6 months and I'm not disappointed with my purchase, despite the microphones, it does well the job for which I had purchased.
I do not know if I would do the same choice, because I have not tested many other guitars in the same price range but I do not regret my purchase for 200 € I did not ask more
