The Vintage V100 guitar is a knock off Gibson Les Paul guitar. It's basically a Gibson Les Paul guitar that's made in Korea using a pseudo name. It's a very inexpensive instrument but it will contain most of the same tone that any other Gibson Les Paul guitar what have. You'll get a warm mahogany based tone that can be rich and thick but the weight, feel, and balance of the instrument can be very lacking compared to a real Gibson LP. However many Korean made instruments that I've played personally have a pretty good weight and feel. So this guitar is going to carry that similar type of build quality that you would know as similar Korean built guitars. It's not going to be priced like a $3000 custom Gibson Les Paul guitar but it certainly is going to feel very comfortable across the neck and as you play it.

If you've ever played any type of Gibson Les Paul guitar or any other mahogany based guitar then you are going to feel very comfortable with this instrument. You get a warm thick juicy tone especially when you use a high gain amplifier. This is a guitar really excels with a load of distortion involved in your guitar sound. It doesn't do quite well at the clean tone settings that you would find from many single coil or lighter body guitar such as a Fender Telecaster or a Fender Stratocaster.

These guitars you can find somewhat easily online. They usually run right around $300 or so. It's not that bad of a price for a nice-looking instrument with a cool looking maple top. If you're in the market for a budgeted Les Paul instrument and don't want to pay the fees and prices then this is a great alternative for you. It's a very well-built guitar for the money and I highly recommend it to anyone who is on a budget.
