I went to Goodguys Music Store in Honolulu, Hawaii, just to browze, and then I saw Sleek looking bass hanging on the wall. I tried it and was kinda blown by the feel, it's design and it's weight. Months after, I finally puchased a brand new Curbow for $450.00. I could have gotten it much cheaper though Ebay, but I could'nt wait and it was there to be taken home.

It's 5-string, even though I was shopping for a six, It's all good. Great looking body, Lake Placid Blue. It's light weight comparing Carvin and Fender basses. The action to me is awesome for soloing or just keeping the groove. Slap switch (is cheating) however, It's great to have, some adjustments on your electronics and your are there. Importantly, it has a great tone that versital players would like. Curbow basses are indeed good basses for the beginners to advance players. Most of all, It's affordable.

I Love Bartolloni pickups. I just wish it came with Two of them instead with one.

Construction and design of the Cubrow is awesome. (won't get into woods) It's made for bass players or bass player who are actually guitar players or play through four set within the night. This body is solid, It once droped on stage and never seen one nick from top to bottom. In addition, the quality of the Curbow bass is the playbility and sound you can get out of it.

Curbow basses are quality bass and It's affordable. I recommend owning one.

I bought it off of e-bay for $200 case included. Awesome price

I like the fact that it is tiny. I am constantly moving on stage and it is the perfect size. It is vey smooth playing. I have pretty small hands, but the width of the neck is perfect. I like it better than any of my 4 strings. It is very hard to scratch and dent. Also, it is different looking than the typical standard bass. It has a little charcter.

It is heavier than I thought it would be.

Ii has had an ok life. I jump in the crowd alot andthe bass gets hit here or there. I have never had a chip on it. It is almost impossible to hurt the body.

It is a very nice bass. I play hardcore/metal with it. It has a nice low B so that comes in very handy. I think for some reason, the choice of strings is very important to the sound of this bass. It likes the DM Skullbusters. Just awesome.

Say anything more than the previous ones opinion, it is that it is quite unusual for an instrument with as much rglages DIFFERENT ...

UTILIZATION

The handle is quite gnial (fine and fast), the highs are accessible trs. The body gives it a weight luthite trslger, which although enjoyable during long sessions ... The trs rglages are effective, allowing her to find a type easily.

SOUNDS

Personally, it's the bass I use most. I play a lot in slap so it suits me well trs. on the other hand, for more pieces Tripp and softer, I prfre the sound of my other low round (SGC Nanyo Bass Collection 320), which provides more heat than the Curbow.
I play with a Digitech BP200, Tte and Cabinet HA3500 Hartke 410XL home.
So great diversity of sounds, but better in that slap bass round (lack of heat).

OVERALL OPINION

3 years that I use and I am happy with my purchase trs. If you slap on the bottom tripper, I strongly recommend this bass and has a potato and a mind-blowing precision. That said, if you have the blues, I'm not sr it is for you.
Again, her body luthite (plastic alloy) gives an amazing grain which makes it almost indispensable in terms sending the steak!
For the price, still has an excellent bass Designed for the slap.

Only the fact of not being able to choose the microphone that I use makes me sad.
For the rest, and as cit above: "Everything adj t say!"

UTILIZATION

For my part, I often play in octaves Agues (solos when I ask, among other things ...), and particulirement ACCS is easy.
However, I find that the lack of weight is when you really feel accde, because the body is too lightweight. The dsquilibre the handle requires taking a position at the lower vertical and twisting column vertbrale to be able to return to the grave without straightening the handle every time (which is relatively p Nible when doing long assignments RPTES.
The handle slips off easily, and suits me fine because I do not have long fingers trs.

SOUNDS

The power of his grave is in the standard, especially with the booster, but this power slowed down, we play ds on R and G strings. So I had to disable Booseré and increase low frequencies from my amp (Peavy TNT 150) for a Son of the strings much more powerful and more serious homogne with codes.

OVERALL OPINION

It was a year or so I play with, and I must admit that I am generally satisfied, although some default that leaves me ENTSO (only sometimes! ..) My old 4 string!
I have another 5-string test would be more suited my game (Brutal and aggressive), and has far fewer default. Alone, more than $ 3,000, it will be in my budget that within a few DCNI!
When the report qualitprix, Cort has laid a bead technology an affordable price.
When I think twice, I did find some default ...

UTILIZATION

This bass has an enjoyable touch trs, access to acute is really very easy. The shape is beautiful and trs trs weight is enjoyable.

The sound is really good round .. prsence a bit more treble on the ropes but it would have t sougaiteble largely correctable. I also possde Jazz Bass (sign. Marcus Miller) who has her on a most excellent but the Cort and far from being ridiculous !!!!! (Especially for the price ....)

SOUNDS

It is versatile trs. I play on a Hartke 3 body without effect. it comes out perfectly. I had the opportunity to tap into other amp and the sound is Fidler (except amps way too low on which the SI had serious trouble out ... a normal /)

Possibility of having a round or otherwise crillard more ... The slap comes out well too .. Fawn any sound dpend normment musician too (do not forget) the fingers, the touch are the keys of his mistress)

OVERALL OPINION

It's been three and a half years 4 years that I have and I'm glad trs trs.
I like the design normment and sound ..; and weight ... The touch also ... RROooooo and then for the price, it is perfect!

with the same budget, I would do that choice without worry! (I try other basses and this is the one in this price range that could rpond the expectations ...)

Note the handle trs trs enjoyable .. rather thin and not too wide for a 5 string ...
