Carvin has announced their latest Custom Shop guitar, the ST300.
This new guitar is based on the ST body option from the early 1990's, with contemporary features found on our newer models. Notably, the ST300 has a deep forearm cutaway and beveled waist as found on their C66 guitar, making the ST300 comfortable to play whether sitting or standing, according to Carvin.
The ST300 is a neck-through model, with an alder body and maple neck standard. All of Carvin’s woods, including flamed/quilted maple, flamed koa, Claro walnut and flamed spalted maple are available in a 5MM drop-top configuration. A 25" scale, 24 fret ebony fingerboard with white dot inlays is also standard.
Standard electronics include Classic Series C22 humbuckers and a 5-way pickup selector/coil splitters as found on the C66. Active electronics with coil splitters and phase switch is optional. You can also order an H-S-S configuration, or add a center position AP11 pickup. The FT6 fixed bridge is standard, or you can choose Carvin's M Bridge with strings fed through the body, the Floyd Rose tremolo, Wilkinson tremolo or Bigsby vibrato.
The ST300 is available for immediate ordering on Carvin.com.
