Acoustica will attend the NAMM Show 2014 to showcase version 1.0 of AeroMIDI, a MIDI 3D virtual controller for Mac and Windows.
Users of the Leap Motion Controller (and soon more 3D motion sensing device) can now discover AeroMIDI, a Mac and Windows standalone software that allows them to trigger notes and send continuous MIDI control messages by moving their hands and fingers (so no MIDI keyboard or physical controller is required).
AeroMIDI is compatible with any MIDI software, including synths, virtual effects and instruments, DAWs, etc.
You can program in AeroMIDI “Action Cards” to define gestures for each hand, the number of fingers for each action and assign these gestures to MIDI controls. Gestures are set on X, Y and 2 axis and rotations are also possible.
AeroMIDI has a regular price of $99.99 but you can purchase it for the introductory price of $29.99. A trial version is also available for download from aeromidi.net.
Acoustica will be at booth 6428, Hall A at NAMM next week for demos.
