I play in a cover band which covers all music from country all the way to death metal.

Bought from Guitar Center roughly 3 years ago for $215 after tax.

To be honest, there isnt much to like about it, i liked the feel of the neck, and it used to stay in tune when I first bought it, dont know what happened, but i doesn't stay in tune very well anymore.

The pickups are very poor quality, sounded decent when i first bought the beast, but after about a year and a half, its jsut liek they wore out or something, terrible quality, now they are much to muddy, and I have since sold them for 5 bucks to my buddy and put some older Dimarzio's in that I had laying around. Quality, sub-par I would say, I didnt think it was very great, at first it was OK, but it declined over time pretty rapidly. Made of some sort of cheap wood, dents very easily and finish is easy to chip off. I use this as a backup to my Fender strat, I'm suprised it's even lasting as a backup. Would never use as a primary.

Bottom line, a cheapy for sure, I wish I would have went with a cheap Epiphone or Squier, maybe even Ibanez, but my point is, you can get better stuff even in this price range.

Staight up Metal, with a wide range of varieties. Been playing for about four years now, and in a band.

Got mine in black from Musician's friend two years ago for about $150.

This thing is built like a tank. I have had for a fairly long time now, and I have never had a problem with it what so ever. Except for the occasinal string breaking. It is one of the sickest shapes for a guitar.

I don't like the strings and pickups it came with. So I put new strings on it, but I have yet to get new pickups. The pickups give good meaty tone, but not very good harmonics. The balance is a little off too, the neck is heavier than the body. It's also pretty heavy, but you get used to it.

I can not destroy this guitar, like I said it's built like a tank. I drag it every where and nothing has gone wrong. I do have to sa for such a cheap guitar, it has some pretty good craftmanship put into it. Even though it does't have the widow headstock like most BC Richs, it has the classic pointy straight six.

A great beginners guitar, and possibly for more advanced players, with better pickups. I think this is a must have for any metal head just staring out, and looking for a wicked axe to start dishing out some heavy riffs with.

i got this in a package for around 300 pounds.ut it can vome cheaper.

I enjoy playing classic rock but people say you cant play 'real classic rock' with this and threy are right in places. But if your playin maiden etc u get a great distorted soound and at band rehersals i play through a laney half stack and it sounds greatt hrough a DS-1.

The clean sound could be better and if you buy this DO NOT get the 'widow' headstock as your 3rd and 4th strings dont have enough support to keep them in tune.

solid enough build and playable enough.

    OK guitar

The pick-ups are pretty decent, iv used it on stage a number of times despite many people opinions of it not being gig worthy and its been great. The bridge can make it a little difficult to restring but the bridge makes it great to do palm muting so as they say swings and round abouts... i think thats what they say anyway!

A whammy might be good but i wouldn't use it so i'm not gonna knock marks off. See above for slight restringing problems but not a huge problem.

very solid in construction, feels like you could take a hammer to it and the hammer would come off worse, no really! Deffinately no complaints.

a great guitar, i think its under priced... its gigable and of very high quality... if you are a metal fan an need a quality metal guitar this is it! Just another point, don't be put off by the fact Mick Thompson uses one, i don't mind slipknot but am not a masive fan, but Max Cavalera of sepultura/soulfly who is a hero of mine used a warlock for many years, so it isn't just a slipknot guitar... honest!

I went to guitar center, hooked it up to an amp, and loved it. Paid $170.

It's my first guitar, so I don't really know what is good or bad about it compared to other guitars, but I think it is very good so far. I like everything about it.

There is nothing about it that I dislike.

It is built very well. Banged it into a steel car door a few times. No scratches or dents.

This guitar is really cool looking and it sounds terrific.

I PURCHASED THIS GUITAR FROM MUSICIANS FRIEND VIA THE INTERNET.I PAID $160.94 TOTAL AFTER THE STANDARD SHIPPING CHARGE WAS ADDED.I BOUGHT THIS GUITAR MAINLY BECAUSE OF THE LOW PRICE AS A BACK UP GUITAR AND JUST THE DESIRE TO HAVE A WARLOCK MODEL.

I REALLY LIKE THIS GUITAR. ITS BLACK FINISH REALLY LOOKS WICKED. THE MAPLE NECK WITH ROSEWOOD FINGERBOARD IS FAIRLY THIN TO ADD EASE FOR STRING BENDING AND ATOMIC AXE SHREDDING "BEGINNER OR SEASONED PRO.
THE PICKUPS ARE A TRUE DELIGHT, THEY REALLY SOUND GOOD. I WAS GOING TO REPLACE THEM WITH DIMARZIO OR SEYMOUR DUNCANS, BUT THEY HAVE A DESIRABLE TONE WITH PLENTY OF SUSTAIN AND NO HUM OR NOISE. THE BOTTOM LINE IS THIS IS A QUALITY MADE LOW PRICE …

THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAD WAS THAT I HAD TO MAKE A TRUSS ROD ADJUSTMENT TO CORRECT STRING BUZZ ON THE FIRST FRET. OTHER THAN THAT IT PLAYED LIKE A CHAMP.

    THE CONSTRUCTION IS VERY GOOD
EVENTHOUGH IT HAS AN AGATHIS BODY IT STILL HAS A WARM TONE. FROM HEADPIECE TO BOTTOM ENDPIN THIS GUITAR WILL AMAZE MOST GUITAR GURU's

ALOT OF PEOPLE SHY AWAY FROM GUITARS THAT ARE MADE OUTSIDE OF THE U.S.A., BUT THE QUALITY IS IMPROVING AND WHY SPEND A SMALL FORTUNE WHEN YOU CAN SAVE ALOT OF MONEY FOR A LOWER PRICED GUITAR.

I bought this at Guitar Center for 170 dollars. Its my sixth guitar, but I love the body of this. I plan to replace the pickups and electonics eventually.

First off, I HATE slipknot and all nu-metal. I know many kids bought this as a first guitar because they pop huge boners over it...but in my case its different. I've alwasy kind of admired its unique shape, so i decided to go ahead and get one. I play metalcore (as i lay dying, it dies today, bleeding through, etc...) and this guitar works real well for that. ESPECIALLY death metal. Playing anything else feels weird. The strings close to the fretboard helps alot for fast picking too. Stock, the strings are pretty lowgrade, but tha…

for being only 170, this is a pretty nice guitar. As i said the strings are kinda bad and I plan on replacing the pickups. Also I think i need to buy another bag, because the headstock pokes out of my standard padded bag with the warlock. oh well.

seems really strong. A lot of people complained about the weight. It's really not that heavy. True, its heavier than my Gibson SG, but theyre light to begin with. Nothing that you can't get used to. Its a bolt on neck, but seems bolted in well. When i got it home and plugged it in, the jack went into the body...the genious who put it in put the nut on first, then the plate on top. but i just went in and got it out, no big deal. but other wise the contruction is great.

Definitly a good guitar for anyone and a good project guitar. Really worth it.

I purchased this guitar at guitar center in colomumbus ohio for $99.99 because i needed a new guitar and this was an afordable and high quality guitar. One humbucker.

This guitar is of high quality with one humbucker and two knobs(volume and tone)the guitar is very light which is good but bad at the same time because lighter means cheaper wood it is made from agathis but i cant tell a difference the neck is nice and made from maple it is unfinished and very smooth the humbucker pickup is definetly a good one because there is hardly any noise it is very quiet. The fretwork is nice and smooth and so is the bolted on neck the fretboard is very smooth to it is made out of rosewood which is pret…

There wasn't much about the guitar that was disliked except the fact that fingerprints show up very well on its black finish and the other thing is it comes with crappy strings and they are 9s and i put some new strings on they were fender nickel wound 10s and it sounded way better other than that its perfect for an intermediate player

the construction of this guitar is very good it is tough and rugged and they manage to make it look great all at the same time the finish on the body is a high gloss fish which requires some dusting but thats fine.

Overall this guitar is awesome and i reccomend it to anybody this is a very nice guitar i love it thank you for reading my review

This is my first guitar that I got at Guitar Center. I paid around one-hundred and fifty dollars. I wanted a guitar with Humbuckers, a nice sound, and a different shape. Bam, when I saw that Bronze Warlock I was very happy.

    1. I like the sound of the humbuckers and the quality of the guitar itself.
    2. A cool shape that made people ask themselves, "I didn't know Star Wars made a guitar."
    3. The Rose wood neck feels great.

    1. Theres not that much to complain about, except I would like to have a pick guard.

A great guitar with good sound and solid playability. 3 tone switch, rosewood neck, cool shape, and it's great if you are in to old school metal.

Dark, Heavy, Mental Luks, I also like the Non-Tremolo 1-Piece Adjustable Bridge, its Great for Slipknot type Metal.

Turn off distortion, and it sounds like a perfectly clean acoustic! I LOVE MY BEAST!

Well, theres VERY few things I dislike about it. The main thing is it requires a 100 dollar hardshell case, because it wont fit in gig bags :-\ I fear dropping it, because it might cut my foot off. Its a bit on the heavy side though. THE BRIDGE HAS NOPLACE FOR A WHAMMY BAR!!!! WHATS A WARLOCK WITHOUT A WHAMMY BAR? ILL TELL YOU: a really cool guitar without a whammybar :-D

the quality is great. The body looks like Satan reincarnated into a guitar. I pick it up and just feel power!

I LOVE MY BEAST! I plan on my making passionate love with it on several occasions...

I ordered it online from musiciansfriend.com. It was $150 plus $11 for shipping and handling. I love the way the body looks-rounded bodies lack style.

It's got so many types of distortion, especially on a good amp, that you may not even need a distortion pedal. The weight is absolutely perfect, it's not heavy AT ALL. I thought the strap button was positioned strangely at first, but once I put it on, it felt fine. I tuned the strings to AEADGB by moving them all down one slot and replacing the 6th string and for the most part it sounds fine. The head is awesome, I think I like it more than the widow head on the platinum series.

You have to turn the gain WAY down to get a clean sound out of it, and sometimes its hard to hear higher notes over lower ones. I detune my guitars to the extreme, my heaviest string is a .56 gauge tuned to low A. That string has a little fret buzz, but it's the only one.

Very high quality and an awesome design. The only problem is that the bridge has a sharp point on it that tends to jab you in the palm, but it's not enough to bother me.

A couple problems, but for the most part it's as awesome as I expected. I love BC Rich now!

$650 AUD, My Music store, desperately needed a new guitar.

The body because of its outrageous shape, I was instantly captured by its evil look (the novelty wore off quickly upon purchase mind you). I have heard people complaining about the heaviness and awkwardness of it, especially when sitting down, yet I felt right at home with it straight away. The widow headstock is genuinely great however, I believe it is exceptional crafting. The neck and fretboard is comfortable, the jumbo size 24 frets is an appealing feature also.

The one piece wrap-around bridge is shocking. The pickup placement has the bridge humbucker sitting directly in front of it, which greatly hinders re-stringing since the strings need to wrap around (hence the name) the bridge. In other words, the humbucker is blocking easy access to the string slots; you may find yourself putting in some good time and effort replacing a few lousy strings.
But wait, there's more...the sharp outer edges of the bridge cause the recurring snap of the top string (I have wreaked havoc on my other guitars and it is a rare occurence for me to break one). Fortunately it has not happened to me onstage with this guitar, but nonetheless it is unsettling coupled with the above problem.

Agathis is definetely not my body wood of choice, it feels cheap to say the least. Although having said this, it is quite a sturdy guitar, and it has survived my bashings incredibly well. But of course there were problems to begin with - the output jack is really frightening; a few times it completely fell out, and I had to replace it with my own nuts a couple of times to finally keep it in place. Also, it is actually dangerous to tamper with it; the wiring is so short that if it were to twist and break then the whole guitar would be f***ed. The humbuckers are another thing altogether - they do produce a decent metal sound, but can also sound muddy, which ruins the quality...I can deal with it. The clean sound, however, is really bad - if you play anything other than metal then STAY AWAY (lucky for me it's not the only guitar I have).

Save up the money and buy an ESP, you will never look back. OR if you really feel you need a Warlock, buy the expensive versions (NJ/Platinum) but otherwise don't be tricked by its fanciness and instead keep your cash for something better.
