All user reviews of 5/5 for the Roland Cube-60
MGR/Frants's review"Roland Cube 60"
When I left I carried a brand new Squier Tele and a Roland Cube 60.
I paid about 3500 NOK, about 540 USD for it. Now they sell them for about 3000 NOK, but still I think I got a damn good amp for the money.
The combination of the Tele and this amp is great. It's amp is 60watts and a 12 inch speaker. I took the bigger model as I want to play loud, and so it does. The COSM modelling is just great with tons of different sounds. Also the clear channels sounds linke an old JazzChorus, meaning it is bright and has loads of power in the highs.
The over drive channel sounds warm and still kicks ass.
And off course there is size. It is small to store and big to play.
What I have not tested yet, but is going to, is to let it drive a bigger cabinet with two or four speakers. I heard that it could be a great combination.
Now I am to change the guitar, but the amp stays.
I miss these things on the Cube 60:
A switch controlled effects loop.
A switchboard with 3 switches should be included. I built my own switch board of and old derby cover from the -62 Harley I used to own. The Roland switches are 3 individual that just mess up the floor with more cables to trip on.
Effects should have a level control, some effects are not loud enough.
An onboard tuner would also be great.
When you turn the beast up really loud, the speaker makes venting noise like a horse's breathing mouth.
Cube 60 is small and tough built mostly.
I have though had one pot knop fall off and the cable storage on the rear to break. This happend when I sent it by air without a flight case.
I glued the knob with PL400 and it has stayed there since.
Apart from that it is built like a tank. No problems at all. Jap quality at its best.
I liked the amp when I bought it, and I like now. I would definately buy one again if this one fell off the plane. For a small amp it is acting like a big gun.
I would recommend getting this 60 watts version over the 30 watts as this one has a bigger sound, is more versatile and plays loud with control.

6 type of effect: delay / reverb, chorus, flanger, etc. ......
You just plug a normal plug and of course a jack!
7 / 8 type of distortion
pe unfortunately can not connect a guitar so 9 / 10
Very easy to use!
Is obtained very easily sound good, put the bass a quarter and you aver the pure rock sound, after the three other types of effect, you manage yourself
Not need the manual, but it is very easy to use!
9 / 10
I made the punk (no sex pistols) style sum 41, blink 182 and emocore!
for emocore, it is pointless -__-' for punk, it's perfect = D
Gresillment-no, with the guitar ltd f-50 (I did not), we obtain a pure metal the distortion ac "r-proud" and gain a background!
1 ½ years!
I like everything! (Particularity)
Yes, and it is almost perfect, you still have to take a pedal distortion / wah
A bit expensive even when E = 60 360 watts but the good quality of sound is very good!

No effects loop, but with some effects Intgr: Dlay / reverb, chorus, flanger, phaser, trmolo.
A modlisation effective.
60W output, possibility to connect to a recorder, headphones or a mixing desk. by cutting the sound of the amp.
Supplmentaire output to a speaker.
Output dedicates a possibly tuner.
3 inputs for foot switch controls by: Dlay, effects, select the channel clear and saturated.
Congratulations Roland for this superb tool.
RE not only the manual, but examples of qualisation Submitted.
The sound is always Fidler with return of the condition with Scult qualisations.
Examples are deficits in the manual.
Clear sounds of a stratum. or sounds with distortion and sustain, or jazz, and even an acoustic simulation.
All types are possible.
Be careful when even the ears, prvoir protections or not too "boust" volume.
possibly select a MODEL SERIES least the same height of "watt".
I use it for over a year.
I like its small size, easy to transport and solid by its protections.
I also use the amp Fenders.
this amp is good and I complment congratulates this choice that I do it again.

Wild horse's review (This content has been automatically translated from French)
Manuel could not be more clear
simulations have the punch you get easily marked his "paw" with the settings
everything is nickel
I fai in the melodic hard (simulation of tube amp + rectify it suits me perfectly with a presence 7ou 8 which gives an opening to the sound) and blues (why is it the black panel is the brit combo with the gain at 5 or 6)
Otherwise, the clean sound is just extra
I am the User for 6 months and no complaints jai it easily rivals a 80 or 100W amp in concert as Repeat '
I got 375 for nine I find great for that price ...

A canal clean jazz style chorus superb
1 channel with 8 amp simulator
Equalizer medium and severe acute presence +
4 efx effects of a button: chorus, flanger, phaser, tremolo.
2 effects efx another button delay and reverb.
jack a / r for the switching effects, change channel, headphone output, tuner output
no loop effect pedals without the book.
J 'uses pedals Proel a 12 euros a furtive contact and it works very well.
It is the same effect and equalizer rglage for 2 channel that is a shame
it lacks a little memorization style memory 4 as the Boss twin pedals from home
if not everything is intuitive and fast quickly found his research in all styles.
The user manual is simple and gives some basic ides
My biggest challenge t master the lead channel volume that act differently depending
J 'often used with a black panel with micro seymour Yamaha SA800 Jazz
a well rounded warm and powerful.
Despite its small size (thank you Mr. Roland for the back). It is highly resistant to a group of angry saxophone.
I use it for 1 year with some success
It lets you quickly and without too much head making good sound and powerful in different style
and without having to carry around a large volume, a guitar cable and finger rolls
Having said that is also the ca limitation, if you use the other pedal effects no choice
for connecting saw that he did not loop insertion that is direct and therefore
simulations modeled by the amp ragissent sometimes not very well so think carefully about these effects
and not shuffled the integrated effects the amp and pedals of those under threat of external Boulli big sound.

the puissanse is 60 what (but gives much more!) you will understand if you are aissay little "jewels" and competes largely a marshall Exceeds 100dfx -> t made the comparison ...
It ia a level rglage EQ (low, medium, high, prsense)
4 effect on the same button (chorus, flanger, phaser and tremolo of a good quality trs)
pui another button a reverb and delay. It has 6 effects.
there are 9 modlisation amp (vox, marshall, peavey fender, bouggie mes ...) and a clean channel and an acoustic guitar simulation of Russian goods!
just plug in connector on a 3 foodswitch the Ariri -> change the channel for a clean / lead
-> A Provides power to the delay / reverb
-> And turn on or turn off the effect 4next
We also just plug a tuner into the tuner, a Bafle, a headset (or connecting the unit to the PC), a line out.
The configuration is very simple just turn the knobs
ds that has been compressed APRS its going to rev faster we can have fun putting an end by this effect by changing diffrent modlisation ... all for a good time This gives a clean sound super easy and the lead channel it fo a little forced on the acute for a crisp!
the manual (in English) shows a configuration for the amplifier (styl grunch, heavy ...).
I play every type of rock music from metallica possible by the vines or the red hot, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin ... Finally, everything! o thanks modlisateur amp is just like jou beauvoups diffrent music, blues, jazz, rock, heavy, soul ...
I play with a LAG RX 200 or HOHNER REVELATION RTX.
As I disai can get crystal-clear sound as well as clean surtt! as well as a fat metal sound! you just need the right amp slctionner modliser around jou!
I find this amp sound clean impcable and the distortion of the mode "r proud" modlisation bouggie of a mess! I n'aprci by pa tro against the classic mode (saturation marshall) for the jou vieu good rock but all the taste ... can be with a better guitar than mine ...
I use the Roland Cube 60 for about a month, I play in a group with no there is no problem pushing the same power at one-half dja well you cover the beat and the drummer bourinan more and more As a lead as it is dan the song .
I tried the marshall 100dfx and Hugues & Ketner (DSOL I do not know how his s'crit) I found a very bland if selui of vot! store I've tested a stroke LAG RX 120.
the price is slightly up for a 60 but with the sound What's that you sent you will dessu pa!
I would do is hsitation choices!
trs was a good product you will see the essay!
