The Behringer is beautifully made and has high quality sounds ( although overdrive and distortion are not great). What I found out the hard way is that you cannot chain effects together. It was no use to me to have 200 effects which could only be used on their own. There are about a dozen pre-sets with just two effects on a single patch but none that were useful to me.
All the effects can be edited, but only within the parameters they started with. This just varies the style and intensity of the particular effect.The supplied manual is useless but there is a full downloadable one which is better but over-complicated!

Published on 09/20/18 at 01:32I bought this unit based on good reviews. I bought it for my guitar rack which is run through the effects send and return of my Bias guitar amp. I also bought the Behringer FCB1010 midi foot pedal to control both devices.
The reviews were correct. The reverbs are lush, the echoes convincing and overall the sounds and build of the unit are great. Unfortunately, as a midi device, the FX2000 sucks! There are non-editable factory presets and user presets. Although I can access the non-editable factory presets via midi, I cannot access user presets via midi.
