Multi but not really multi-purpose. I mean, there are mainly delay and reverb effects complemented by some other classics like flanger, chorus etc. ....
Two completely independent effects processors that can route in 4 different ways depending on use.
USB interface (that's pretty damn good) comes with editor / bibiothécaire and ability to use VST instruments, but note: The sound is not carried by the USB connection.
The two effects processors are not complementary, but all offer the same two effects. In fact it is two same machines that can be set inépendamment.

UTILIZATION

Config simple, some subtleties to know (is therefore still read the instructions!)
Edit sound archi-simple.
The manual is just enough, there is really the minimum.
Some gaps even there the paramétarges unexplained. Example: Setup for use in stereo send / return for a console, you must change it seems the default config ca change this parameter assignments for the knobs dry / wet, but what settings? mystery ....

SOUND QUALITY

This is where the fish a little machine by comparing with the competition (in this case the TC Electronic M300, including the MX200 Lexicon is the response of this model).
Slightly pronounced effects (especially reverb). They lack scale, if you want to put "a lot" of reverb, well it's not possible. In addition, despite having tried all the routing, I found the reverbs are far from what a lexicon used to go out (in the more upscale). They "spoil" really sound, and the effect of characterization knob (clear or matte) is very low.
In addition it generates the blowing this machine! Much more than the TC Electronic M300. Here though everyone says there's no picture! (Used to send / return on console)
Here I break the note as simply not worthy of Lexicon.

OVERALL OPINION

It's been one week that I have, but if it again, I do not buy it.
Perhaps it is not suitable for my config or what I do as zic (I put a lot of reverb in my components)?
So for me price / quality ratio, to choose, I prefer the TC Electronic M300, it has less ability, but what he does, he does it better than the MX200.

Plant Ca 2 once when I want to open it in Plugin! And yet I am under XP SP2

SOUND QUALITY

Bof ... For the live, OK, to relieve your CPU why not, but if you have good reverb plug (IK Classic Studio Reverb, Ambience Smartelectronix ...) or better in convolution reverbs (IR1 Waves, Altiverb, Wizooverb ... ) it's not worth it, the sound of the MX200 does not compete! It is somewhat reminiscent of the Waves TrueVerb! Not bad, but it is cold and metallic!

As for other effects: blah!

OVERALL OPINION

I thought that Lexicon would compete with the best plugs, but this model is an entry-level, so no secret!
