1 Technics EN-4 distorting on bass
I have a Technics EN-4 organ which was working beautifully until I started playing it during the beginning of a wedding ceremony outdoors. I had the volume up pretty high and all of a sudden the bass pedals started distorting horribly. The rest of the organ sounds perfect, so I am wondering if I blew one or two of the bass speakers. Is that a likely possibility? I am thinking that if it was an amp problem the whole instrument would sound distorted, unless the organ is bi-amped. If it's the woofers, does anyone have any ideas on a suitable replacement for them?
