For how long have you been using it?
I received in January 2010, and since I discovered all its possibilities one by one.

What thing do you like most/least about it?
Pros:
- It's a kind of electronic percussion instrument, but music, so an instrument built for the live.
- It is taken in hand, without programming knowledge, setting (although it can have in searching the doc)
- A real 50ènes levied at your fingertips, plus a 50ènes of percu-Syth impressive by the quality of their sound. all usable elements on the 2 sensory (skin / eye rim).

Cons:
- A MIDI out would have been the instrument of my dreams, a future version can be.
- The game is extremely rich, but not enough to make 100% of the fine levied a classic of the 100 proposed. But this is what comes closest.

Did you try many other models before getting this one?
No, because in fact it is the only of its kind. It is an electronic drum that replicates the feel particularly well with a true percussion, especially for a game with your hands.

What is your opinion about the value for the price?
An attractive price for a perceived which does not disturb the neighbors or family, while having fun playing like congas, djembe, etc. ... for hours. So practice to practice.

Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice?
In fact the fun of games by hand or with different tools (stick, stick, hammer) is true and sincere, certainly not perfect, but what is the best of my knowledge for the price. Whether it is to train at home in the studio or playing live (with an amp of course). So without hesitation I REFERRED the same choice.

I use it for 1 month, I also own a roland HandSonic HPD10 and an electronic drum.

The HandSonic and Wavedrum are very different, though complementary. I use the HandSonic more like a drumkit, the sounds are very clean, very clear, very roland. For Wavedrum, it seems more an acoustic intrument that needs treatment, the dynamic is much greater than the HandSonic is not easy to mix. It feels like a mix between acoustic instruments and a synthesizer.

Like many, the hit is very pleasant, there are basically four areas of games.
The ai:

The center:

High:

In short it is quite expressive, although not yet perceived as a real.

Certain preset its really very nice, and we discover new ways to play, even on the presets that have been playing quite often.

There grossomodo 40% preset classic djembe, snare, congas ... and the rest of preset synth-style, it helps to create ambiences very peculiar.

I would do without hesitation that choice, I was expecting this kind of buying the perceived HandSonic, and finally not at all. It is more agreeable to the djembe, congas, instruments "simple" on the HandSonic Wavedrum that offers fewer expressions and suffers from its too "square". For the cons HandSonic allows more of his playing 3 instruments at the same time, to the samba, or perceived set / drumkit is clearly more suitable. Basically the Wavedrum is intrusment HandSonic when in fact 2 or 3. I love both, I do not know which one I would choose if I had to have one.

Caution is however a trick to turn the volume x2. Then the volume is an adequate level without being "very strong" that I have no problem.
