I use it for 6 months. I never used other equipment of this type before. Mackie is the only equipment I have.

We can make several objections to this control surface. Its price, it does not work in standalone, quality of documentation.

But today, that works without a computer in its configuration? 6 months since I use it, I see the C4 control software uses very little CPU and is very stable. I had no problem until today.

This control surface and its software are provided with numerous configuration scripts that allow immediately to take control of MIDI hardware widespread. Mackie's website, you will find some documentation that explains how to create scripts or even new. Unfortunately, it is very incomplete and must therefore cling to understand the mechanics of XML configuration files. This exercise is rather reserved for those who feel the soul of a computer programmer. The ticket is expensive, but the results it gives you is worth it because the control surface and its software can do many things.
