Kush Audio introduces Omega Transformer plugins

According to Kush Audio, their new Omega Atransformer plugins (based on the brand's 500-format hardware units) are supposed to give your tracks "more vibe, more color, and less of the fast, sharp transients digital is famous for".

Controls are quite basic - you just turn the Intensity knob and a distinct flavor unfolds depending on the model (Model A is reportedly modeled after an API preamp, Model N after a Neve one), with a result that is meant to "sound sweeter, give EQ's more mojo to extract, and feed compressors a rounder, punchier transient". A phase inverter and -20dB pad are also included.

The two models (A and N) are available now for $29 each. Formats include VST & AAX Native for Mac and Windows systems, as well as AU for Mac only. Whether it actually will transform your sound is up to you to determine, as free demo versions are available at www.thehouseofkush.com.
