Manx launches a new polysynth VST
Manx adds to his collection of virtual instruments a VSTi for Windows inspired by the polysynths from the 80s.
The Manx SJ-2 (Super-Jay 2) is based on layers of sound processing algorithms designed to reproduce the subtle nuances of analog synths. The instrument offers a 6-note polyphony with Unison and Double modes, includes home-made envelopes and filters, as well as PMW LFOs, modulation routings, a patch library and more. It is also velocity-sensitive and all the parameters benefit from MIDI Learn for your MIDI keyboard.
Manx warns the users that the SJ-2 may hammer you CPU ressources, so it rather be used on newer computers.
The SJ-2 is a 32-bit VST plug-in for Windows, a Mac version is also planned but might not be released this year. The instrument has an introductory price of $69 / £40 and 50€ approximately and you can download a demo version at www.manxsynthesizers.com.
