It's a fairly classic overdrive pedals. No sound rvolutionnaire is a vintage sound, but what is more vintage. But it's a class.

UTILIZATION

Trs simple configuration. A knob "Gain," a knob "Bias" knob and a "V". The use of knobs can dconcerter, but with a little practice, a roll. You should know that with "V" less than a third of the race, we hear nothing.
The manual is not clear trs, we must dbrouiller and take the time to discovering, but it is a pleasure.

SOUND QUALITY

The overdrive is really convincing. Trslger to the frankly dirty.
A Telecaster and a Marshall 8040.
Drive over the canal, was killed. In his clear, it was a beautiful palette, but on the Drive for a solo is killer.

OVERALL OPINION

I last fortnight.
I like the sounds, rtro really, really beautiful, which are a great addition, a vritable color.
Point ngatif, food. You need a 9 volt power supply 200 mA. Otherwise, a snore and you burn out components.
I tried a lot of pedals before, I heard more pchues, more aggressive, but rarely as lgantes.
The report qualitprix trs is good, even if the price is a little lev.
I would do without this choice problem ..

Overdrive pedal with germanium transistors (in short, the old metal transistors).
The power is not supplied 9v (hello purchase price if you do not want to put the batteries).
A connector jack input and output.
A true-bypass.
In a safe aluminum (I believe it) It looks very durable. The knobs are also of very good quality.

UTILIZATION

- Configuration: At the beginning it's hard to get used to it. It should tweak.
I explain a knob drive (is it useful to explain its role). A knob and a knob bias volt. The knob used to vary the volt electrical input power to the pedal 3 to 9 volts, it must then set the bias against the voltage. If the setting is done wrong it is very simple it does not get any sound, there are also means to have the old battery of a dream, a nice little effect. The pedal is super versatile, I have not heard the whole I think the sound palette, combined with another pedal or with a few settings on the amp, you get a very wide range. You have to find your sound.

SOUND QUALITY

Welcome to the 60's-70's rock, there are Clapton, Hendrix, Chuck Berry, ... as mentioned above, there are many many possible settings.
I use my pedal through a spiderII 15w (yes I missed a good vintage crunch on this amp. The crunch channel is rotten, I can finally rock vintage).
The scratching a corte X6 (since it has a simple micro-switch or micro-double can have a good range of sounds with the pedal).
I just love the sound of this pedal, I have tried many OD pedal and it is one that is best for me.
I tested also in a Tiny Terror and it sends.
For metalheads against friends abstain, stay on the MT-2 Metal or muff or otherwise.
The Germanium OD is for the vintage sound.

OVERALL OPINION

I had already tried several times in the store, and yesterday I decided to leave my credit card. If you are looking for a vintage sound try, it is worth seeing.
I love these sounds, I had trouble with the settings but I can assure you after a few hours you can easily find these sounds but I feel however, that the beast did not yet revealed.
I tried several models and it is for me the best in style and has more than a little something of its own.
The quality / price is excellent, apparently the E & H are resistant pedals.
However, you must either use batteries or you can buy a transformer 9v: s which is unusual (I bought a personal transformer at Boss).

This is a unique gain/distortion pedal, in the fact that it is designed to mimic the sound of a distortion pedal with a low or dying battery. In fact, it is so broad with its sounds that it can be used in a variety of contexts. It is a purely analog distortion pedal, one that uniquely adjusts the voltage and the signal bias to create a unique effect. This pedal is not capable being hooked up to a computer in anyway, nor is it rackable. There is simply the 1/4 inch connection.

UTILIZATION

There are only three knobs on this guy. One is for gain, which is normal. The other two are different than most pedals, they are named Bias and Volt. The manipulation of these sounds is usually only possible by opening the circuit board of the pedal. The Bias knob changes the signal flow up and down, which affects the sound in a way that is difficult to describe, but is very cool. The volt knob, as you probably can guess, adjusts the voltage which gives the sound a really gritty, really decayed sound. If these are the sounds you're looking for, you'll have no trouble using this guy.

SOUND QUALITY

The sound quality of this pedal is great, but only for people with a real interest in these very particular sounds. I've managed to get some really grainy, decayed sounds that really rock but are totally murky and thick. A good example of a song that features similar tones would be "Everyone Choose Sides" by The Wrens, for anyone who may be familiar with them. Other sounds on the complete opposite end of the spectrum include a great 60's style light fuzz that can be achieved by increasing the voltage and lowering the bias. This tone is great for adding a little grit to an otherwise clean sound, a little bit dirtier than what can usually be done with a Fender Twin when you crank the pre-amp. Overall, the sounds possible with this pedal are very particular, but can be used effectively in the right context. Also, I've used it nicely with my Strat/Twin setup, but I've seen it used with Les Pauls and it arguably sounds even better, especially with a good tube amp.

OVERALL OPINION

I like the uniqueness of this pedal, it definitely will help add a rough lo-fi sound to whatever you're playing. For this reason, I would have to recommend it for studio use over playing live. It might not be powerful enough to rock a venue (at least it wasn't enough for me), but it's properties will give your records a raw, gritty feeling that is hard to find in some of the more popular pedals. I have tried many distortion pedals but none really compare to this, except for those that have been doctored for the same effect. I'd recommend it to creative and experimental guitar players who care more about overall texture than purity of tone.
