I received a week ago, I thought to intro version of ableton but because it is bundled with the APC20 for a fairly reasonable price finally, I cracked!
The product is (as often with Akai) very well done and gives a real feeling of solidity with thick rubber sidewall.
The APC20 is plug and play, both on mac and pc controllers are well thought out, there is also a mode "note" very valuable that can be used as a traditional keyboard.
So I might even sell my midi keyboard, but we must admit that we are a little lost because of the lack of reference to play (not black, obviously), more the APC20 does not support the velocity.
This is still a great all in one for those who mainly use Ableton Live. The price / quality ratio seems very good.

Part of my job I know midi controllers. This is not revolutionary, nor hi-tech but well assembled with a finish very correct and well thought out especially.

What I appreciate most is its compactness, given the number orders, but no problem between neighboring controls.
Small problem: anything over once he withdrew his ears (aesthetics / comfort).

The quality / price is a bit high but the finish offsets.

I hesitated with APC40 and finally it is enough. The lack of rotation is not as troublesome as one might think from reading the web. Thanks to the user layer, I was able to map much of the mini fader potentiometer, if one adds the possibility of macro live you get something diabolical in so little space.

I use the APC20 past two weeks.

I dreaded having to take time to understand how to use the Controller who seemed relatively obscure when I saw him. Yet the opposite: very fast April APC20 has a childlike simplicity. I enjoyed the discover and although I know full duty, I know I am far from having all its discovery capabilities (which makes it even more intressant).

Although sr facing APC40, can be gn by the absence of knobs. My master keyboard had what it took for this ct s so it does not cause me great concern (and j'conomise of place: a APC40 could not actually log on my office). After all, this exception prs, the APC20 is my opinion the perfect Controller (necessary?) For Ableton Live.

Report qualitprix impeccable: a price justified by a flawless finish. It does not feel taken for a consumer bte is neat and well thought out (even to the edges I enjoy rubber on the sides (removable if required) that hold hands on the Controller, near the pads).

I would do this choice without hesitation.
