UTILIZATION

Install the driver, dye portable, plug the card and restarting, no problem of conflict
when the card is INSERR is the indigo which is automatically set as the default peripherals. The manual advocates a small sheet, and a PDF file does not explain much.

GETTING STARTED

The drivers are stable in 24/44, I had some small cuts in 24/96 but I think that Win XP optimization arrange the matter, SX takes a lot of resource latency is 11ms default 24/44 to 24/96, but falls in 5ms, I say default because they can get 2ms in 24/44 and 24/96 by Ms A, I turn 11ms months via a Roland XP50 and nothing is dcelable with Synth VSTi, stability is positively admirable, I have used so far only ten Vst synth and the rest in the South, in terms of audio, I do not know anything yet, all fawn, not to the quality of the map that there will be more or less optional on SX, more effects, more audio, more VST, it dpend processor.

Installation without any pb using the latest drivers caught in the net.
No pb of compatibility.
I looked for 10 minutes in Cubase SL to choose the right paramtres and get the lowest latency possible.

The drivers are very stable under XP with Cubase.
The sound is amazing, no breath, redcouverts treble, deep bass ...
Latency is almost non-existent on my little config:

Cubase SL, I'm running without any worries VSTi 10, 2 audio tracks, Thurs + rel time via MIDI keyboard!

My little slowed down, a little Celeron PC (clicks) when I hold an audio track (record) with 5 VSTi greedy, but that's normal ...

I wait to test it with that I'll buy Atmosphere ending for ...

For cons I fear for the small connector (gold plated mini jack): we will use.

Little trouble in my XP: my laptop does not boot if the card is plugged in, but comes from my PC.

I've had three days, I just test the bottom, and I really urge anyone who wants to play virtual instruments.
I test before external USB cards, and although there's no pictures!

Currently used as a good map input output requires no external power supply for a laptop 3.06Go PIV / 512 MB RAM (D3010 Amilo d7830).
This card meets my expectations for 220 € uros (or they at Music Stars aligned competition .. obliged).

I chose the Echo Indigo I / O to use VSTi in RPET and scne with my Laptop. I dj a Tascam US122 possde I also bought this in mind (USB port, and small size to win easily and move from desktop to laptop) but Tascam has always refused to work properly on my laptop: the usual PBS, cracking, etc ...
Echo with any of these problems! Trs low latency, no crash in use, its perfect for use as I did (I did not even test the recording).
My config Laptop: Compaq Evo N610C 2GHz 512MB XP Pro HD30.
The connection seems fragile. Mini jack for use RPET-frquente scne, o is the big cable industry that do well on the toy, seems to me a dodgy. The volume button on the top can be handled easily. I prfr the card is connected to a beefier box spar.

UTILIZATION

No pb installation.
Map IMMEDIATE recognized APRS putting the drivers.
Only problem, if I leave the card in the slot sometimes the microphone does not start. It is better that I leave boot, then I put the card. As against it can be removed and the hot hand several times without problem.

J'apprcie stability of Systm, low latency, which can play live with the same sound that house! With a laptop you can get an mga expander and cheap as this card is available trs (in 200). Obviously to make the sound and record srieusement, missing inputs / outputs, but it is not his goal. I think also use it to save the group from its unique RPET.

What motivated me for this purchase, the PCMCIA and the fact that the card do not need external power supply to operate.

I use it mainly with Forte, and Cubase.

UTILIZATION

Installation without problem. It installs the driver, the reboot with the card, and it's good.

Driver ultra stable, I have not had a single crash with the latest driver (taken in March 2004). For updates, for me, as a function I do not ... well, must see.
I mainly use for running high VSTi Plugsound type, native, and Ik ... operates a nickel, no prob, 2.6m latency 16/48 (painfully I reached the 10-11ms with the Audiophile USB), so for me it's all good. 24/96 test yet, will keep you informed.
On Cubase, I have not Russian overloading the map with a lot of audio ('AmpliTube') and the south, with a low latency 3 ms prs, so aa to turn the air .

OVERALL OPINION

I use it extensively for 2 weeks.
What I like most is the PCMCIA format, which allows me to reach an unimaginable level of latency with my old card. What I like least, bah .... the mini jack connection also, even if for now, I have no problem.
The map pretty hot too, I do not know if this is normal.
I tried a few before acqurir MODELS, firewire, USB ... is the price I pay that motivated me to buy it, the fact that I e dj a prampli.
I bought it for 190 euros okaz it was new, the person who sold me the problem with qq with another defective card, then replaced, and he sold me ( I confess a little complicated).
With exprience, I remake that choice without prob. It is a value sre.

Rp yesterday I stepped on the cable without expr, so that t eject the card in full operation ... not cool. It still works (ouf. ..), no problem, except that the cable jack is a little twisted at the fiche.Donc, I confirm, it is small and sturdy (except the ... minijack)

I changed my laptop, I dsormais a Sony PCG K115Z. No problem at boot, the card is a stability dconcertante, I do sessions of 4-5 hours without crash ... frankly, I stay on my mind, for those who need a card with an output between Stereo and it's really killing the card.

Then the big advantages is the transportabilit trs is compact, the PCMCIA format, an input and output with volume knob and a small indigo loupiote (forcment): effective, a bit spartan, What no frills. A little regret for the mini jack connectors but ...
I use it to record guitars, vocals and bass one by one and then one from enough.

I put not a cause of 10 mini-jacks.

Drivers initials I do not know but the latest ones (which are the same in November when ...) are stable trs.
We can remove the card from the port when the computer but I want to plant if I want it back APRS. But it may be my drivers port which has, not the card.
The console comes with little to control the entry and exits 4 and the virtual master streos are well done with trs, fader VU meters, mute, pan for each channel (ie 12 in total ), and possibility of dsolidariser right / left.

Motivation of choice: need a PCMCIA interface in-out to put on my laptop. Desired compactness and ability to catch its simple audio (voice speaking). Especially, need low latency to work with VSTi in FL Studio 7 = ASIO driver.
Config: HP Pavilion DV1000 Laptop, 2 GB RAM, 100 GB HDD. Win XP SP3.

UTILIZATION

Easy installation, driver nickel.
General configuration without pb: ASIO panel access to the interface of FL Studio. Impeccable works with a buffer of 512 samples, or low latency for gaming in midi keyboard, voice catches or restitution.
Little access to the manual, the card is basic: volume knob, jack 1 / 8 "input and output.

Stability of drivers, good performance of the signal with a lot of VSTi (synth and effects), not stall or crash. Very good value for money.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this sound card since the summer of 2007 and I am very satisfied. I am now forced to change because I bought a new laptop and the PCMCIA port is no longer :-(.
+ Point: compact, good signal holding in ASIO, simplicity.
Point -: fragile connections, although being careful, no pb.
Not test other products before buying it. However, I tried several now and galley is to find an interface with good drivers (need to fall back on Asio4All with poorer perf). I therefore regret my ECHO Indigo.
Good value for money. If the PCMCIA port had not been replaced by the ExpressCard, I would not change that choice now and do it again without hesitation
