1- I play the guitar for over fifteen years exclusively on lamps amps (Marshall JTM and Fender), I think I have a pretty demanding ear about making myself -for the quality of a guitar sound .dropoff window
I was looking for a long time an app allowing me to feel really play on a tube amp
2- I had a Peavey -priori on, which I especially associais sound 'mtalleux' that does not really appeal to me (I prefer the clean-overdrive or fuzz sounds that distos standards).

I recently tlcharg all demos VST amp simulations possible, and immediately, it was imposed by a realism in the superior sound (despite a breath quite pronounced ds you push the volume).

Yes I open 5 instances in Ableton Live with effects, which eats between 30 and 40% of the CPU, so no problems, no latency by configuring the driver correctly. Warning against by convolution with rverb, crunches can occur! (Therefore j'vite to use it for the live)

It is not given (about 220 euros tlchargement) but given the quality I think it is justified. I just have liked a little more choice in their effects, and that rglages of these are a bit more efficient and intuitive (with eg. A MIDI sync the delay). As for amps, I would have liked a little less Peavey and a little more from the rest (only 1 Fender is just a little), but with the possibility of customisations there what to do I think ...dropoff window

OVERALL OPINION

I will give my opinion on the version I dmo download on the site Peavey. This version is complete, except that we can not save.

I find it odd that a person have not yet given its opinion, because for me, I t all simplistic on the ass when I tried this trick l. I know the Amplitube, Guitar Rig 1 and 2, etc. .... Waves Simulation but then has the rings. Point bar.

For the first time, I feel like the amp in front of me. I mostly use the JSX, just to play it. I either used as such, just the simulation of pramp I return in the return of my old Marshall VS 100 (with a 4x10). Nickel.

OVERALL OPINION

This app is just amazing.
I have all tried and I never get any better than:
Guitar => Prampli TubeMP => POD => Plugin + Cubase effects.
Today I have my virtual POD and Cubase that I took a lot of CPU.

We could dvelopper for days but here are the + + + this simulator:

- Simulations PEAVEY amps are incredible, it's the very first time it feels like a real 'bite medium' typical of real amps lampes.Tous styles are catered.

- Tools Stro type dcalage right / left, Enhancer ... give scope to his ever heard with the other soft.

He is autonomous (standalone) then uses a resource and can keep you well:
It possde module Seinberg VST Host! And yes, you can use your Plugin Submitted effects on your PC as effects from the Entire Revalver (Warp, T-Racks, Izotope ...)

Yes, I have a Guitar Rig 3, and Pod X3 Live and AmpliTube I test. I think the Revalver Exceeds largely to the sounds with distortion. I find the sound less rough ReValver Amplitube, Dfine more, but less polyvalentque others. But it blows much more than any other.

Revalver MKIII amp simulator is a virtual no problem during installation .. Once this step must be done to connect to internet to activate the license .. Still without any worries ..
Then it will set it up over your stuff and that's it ..
Personally I have encountered no inconsistencies whatsoever with my computer or my external sound card ..
The manual euhh I think I've never opened, no need ...

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

I work on a Quad core PC (3.5 GHz), equipped with an ASUS P5Q, 4GB of RAM and an interface Toneport UX2 Line 6 ..
Revalver is installed in 32 bit on my PC but to know he can turn into 64-bit also ..
So far everything works perfectly without having any worries concerning its use of CPU this may be variable depending on the patch open .. The more you use more of its consolidated increases effects but nothing scary ..

OVERALL OPINION

Revalver I use for over a year now and I admit that I really like this app .. First, by its big capacity choices offered ..
15 amps
12 preamps
9 amps of power
19 Stompboxes
11 effects and over 150 booths ..
7 utilitées including tuner and analyzer
Everything is compatible with VST, RTAS, AU and ASIO, Core Audio, WDM ..
In addition it works in standalone mode ..
Cabins on it may import its own cabins IR impulses and here is a big plus for me because I like the impulses Redwire ..
Regarding a comparison with other models and I well know that virtually all of the boards to pay and freeware that I would classify this one in the top three ..
But according to a style or as a guitar can be used I can make a different choice ..
For me each virtual amp or not, to its unique ..
If you are looking for a powerful and dynamic, so it will Revalver some amps like the 6505 or JSX head ringing of the fire god without forgetting the preamp EARLY the bomb .. I must say that I use these amps with guitar great qualities and that's important .. I do not know if I can find this guitar with a large grain mid-range .. I'll try here ..
