News Klanghelm IVGI

Today's the International Music Day, which celebrates all musics and musicians, wether in home studio, on stage or out on the street.

For this International Music Day, we have music material for everybody.

First, the IVGI saturation and distortion plug-in for Mac and Windows (AU, VST, RTAS, 32 and 64-bit) created by Klanghelm. It reacts dynamically to the signal you feed it and you can adjust the saturation amount, the symmetry of the signal without affecting the harmonic content and the saturation frequencies.

The GUI also features a VU-meter with several modes (in, out-in, out). Internal calibration is 0VU = –18DBFS.

You can download it for free from klanghelm.com.

A church organ is not an easy instrument to take out to the streets, but you can use a couple of MIDI keyboards and a dedicated pedal with the french Joseph Basquin’s Jeux d’Orgues apps. The french editor has compiled its organ church sound libraries into iOS (Jeux d’Orgues) and Android (Opus #1) mobile apps. Free versions are available for the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and Android phones and tablets, and paid editions are also available on the iPad and Android platforms.

Have a great Music Day and weekend!
