VSL Updates & Goniometer
The Vienna Symphonic Library team has made free software product updates available for registered users.
Vienna Instruments, Vienna Instruments PRO, Vienna Ensemble PRO, Vienna Suite and Vienna MIR PRO / MIR PRO 24 are now compatible with Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion. The new version of Vienna Suite now includes 11 64-bit audio processing plug-ins – the new Goniometer has been added as a monitoring tool to display phase differences and to check for mono-compatibility of audio signals in real-time.
The new version of Vienna Suite comes with an additional Goniometer, a plug-in useful when working on mixes. The Peak Meter and Correlation Indicator allow for control of mono-compatibility and signal polarity, whereas phase-shifts and polarity inversions can be identifiedwith the Goniometer Display. Additional functions include a “Glow” and “Clip” feature as well as an Input Channel Selector.
Registered users may download the new software from the company’s User Area at any time, free of charge. Additionally, customers may test-drive the full versions of all software products with free 30-day trials, available at the Vienna Symphonic Library web shop.
