I appreciates noon (thus not owner format) that can connect any crankset pm (this case a FCB1010 home) and not their crankset to RJ45 or as I do know what.
Too bad it lacks a per line in between to mix quickly with a mp3 player, and possibly between an XLR (for a would resume UX2 or 8 ...)

USE

I find it easy to use a stand-alone, with GearBox even more convenient.
Naviguation / edition ok for me, nothing is perfect, but it is fast is good.
The manual ... yes well, do their pub cool inside, everything is beautiful what.

SOUND QUALITY

I have an ESP M-II (non-active micro but well despite sings) I m'clate good with this stuff, especially in a mix, you come to believe it. Alone, has never got my worth an amp sound with good qq pedals.
For me the effects are good, diffrentes modlisations amp we choose the one that suits us. The galisations do not always have a very effective I think pushed through against the influence of the drive in general is very good and it is adjusted with care.

It's been several years since I work in a home studio and I must say that I have tried just about all the preamps on the market (not the thing to 1000 euros) ... but yes those below. And I must say that the Pod XT is the device with which I get the best results ... I will not discuss the effects that I do not use because I put then in Nuendo.

As offering the possibility to fully exploit it is the parametric EQ that can correct the weaknesses of amp simulations (I cut the bass up a bit the 600 and 3000 hz). I use either a Palmer The Junction (to simulate the baffle) or with internal baffles (Treaplate 4x12).

Iv been playing both acoustic and electric guitars for over 7 years now and i have had played about with several different effects pedels in that time but never in my life have i had sooooo much fun with this little box of genius!

i bought it for £300 and i am hoping to get a FBV4 pedel to go with it which should cost abt £70

absolutely evrything about it is phenominal! the sustain, gates, distortion, and overall variety of effects it offer provides so much potential for any musician it is unbelievable. since i have had it i have explored may more different types of music including going into heavier rock, which really got some amazing riffs and a huge range of chords

there is so much on there i found it hard to believe for the first couple of weeks!! although there were many different setting that i did not even know about until i did the most unholy thing.......yes i read the manual!! and it was actually quite good reading!!

as im in a band i av set up every week at whoevers house were practising at, but i have found, apart from a few scratches, which im very disapointed about, it can take a fair amount of kickin, falling off the top of amps among other regular rocking accidents

if you want more than one effect with in a product this is the only thig for you! i foudn that it is much more than a piece of equiptment, i used to play my guitar on my own, but now i play my guitar and my pod plays bak

I have had the pleasure of putting my PODxt side by side with a 1965 Fender Super Reverb. If you were blindfolded you couln`t tell the difference. Plus with the addition of the Line 6 shortboard, you can switch to any of the different settings, or use volume/Wah with ease. You have complete control. For an additional $99 you can download some of the most sought after amp models, boutique amps, and effects pedals. right from your computer.

I got this for $399.99 flat from Musician's Friend because there is no tax, it's over three hundred, and I didn't need and extra year's warranty. I got it in March, 2003.

I was just looking around this site and noticed that there wasn't a review for the POD xt so I decided to put one there. This is the best musical investment I've ever made, apart from my actual guitar. I like how it's got a new LCD display, which makes it so much easier to know what you're doing than with the POD 2.0. I like how it's got 32 different amps programed into it, and from the real ones I've actually played, I know that they all sound EXACTLY like the real thing. I like the 22 different cabinets that are programed into it also. I like how I had trouble choosing whether to put in Guitar Effects, Recording Gear, or Live Sound. I like how it has USB, enabling me to update the software over the internet, MIDI just in case of the IMPOSSIBLE likelyhood that someone would find a stombox or modulation effect that isn't stored in here (there are 50-60 of them that you can modify or just leave the same, but I never found the need to search for any more than I currently use in my songs), and the jack for the foot switch. I like the ability to create my own tones and save them. I like the extremely easy-to-use and accurate built-in tuner. I like how it has fifty-something preset amp/cab combinations labeled with names of classic songs to help you find the tone you're looking for, even though I'm 14 and I've never heard most of them. I like how it will be months, even years before I discover all the different tones I can get. But most important of all, I like how it looks; the kidney-bean shape and the fact that is the exact same metallic red as my guitar.

If there is one thing I don't like about this, it's that you can't save the changes you've made to the preset amp/cab mixtures.

The POD is built like a tank. The outer shell is pure metal. Mine has been dropped several times already and not a single thing has come loose. I can probably shoot it and it would still work.

If you have trouble finding that perfect tone you're looking for either at practice, recording, or even live (you can buy the footswitch that Line 6 also makes), and you don't want to spend thousands, this is the answer to all of your problems.

Very simple, much simpler than the pod or the pod pro, since the screen is much larger and clearer.

SOUND QUALITY

I think it is important to clarify one thing before you judge the sound quality of such apareil: a pod is made to record guitar tracks, or the limit to play through headphones without disturbing the neighbors. There is no point in plugging a pod of an amp trying to get closer to the simulated amps, it's not made for that, and the result is generally disappointing.

For those who have tried to make the sound of an amp with a (of) micro (s), and want to find a way of recording, it is clear that the pod is a revolution, and the Pod XT goes even much further. In general there are a wide variety of grains from one model to another on the XT. Sounds gross (no effect) really seem more realistic and more malleable. Overall, the sounds are much easier to mix because they are less draft, finer and more dynamic.

The models of pedals are a great source of additional opportunities, and quality of sound is also the appointment.

The sound output via USB works impeccably well, and that's more ennorme! Especially for those who only records of the guitar: it avoids having to buy a very good sound card. With a pod XT and a laptop you have all your recording studio at hand ...
