Technology at Roland usual with the settings that are found throughout the Cube Street series. But little power at home than adequate with a fairly good spread with 2 HP and tilt.
You can connect headphones, instrument, and especially singing simultaneously (Yamaha THR different series for example). The entrance song can also be used to enter a drum.

UTILIZATION

Not really need a manual, all the settings are simple and see what is research.

SOUNDS

Sounds nice for this type of amp for home and training both in bass, guitar, vocals, drum machine.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had five years and is a loyal companion with nylon storage and travel. You can play at home with a friend (s) on vocals, ringing your drum machine. Take it with you to play with other people.
No real concern for volume if we make him what it was built.

Choice over again, including the ability to connect both voice and instrument.

Well, I read a lot of reviews for this thing before I got it, but I'm a skeptic until I get a hand’s-on. I expected it to be a bit thin with 6.5" drivers, but was very pleased with the sound coming out of it. I normally use the onboard effects of a SpiderIII or an RP-1000 through a keyboard amp so I am used to synthesized tone. The Street Cube for its obvious limitation, delivers a good variety of sound in a very small and powerful package.

UTILIZATION

I am definitely impressed with the sound this puts out. And even more surprising is the weight. The thing is about the size of a cinder block, but weighs in a just a few pounds. It is truly hard to believe that 6 AAA batteries puts out this volume. I've played it a lot since I got it last week, and have yet to run down the juice. I'm sure the "15 hours" of play time is optimistic, but it easily lasts several hours at loud volume.

SOUNDS

The FX are good. There are three basic flavors - several amp styles, chorus/delays and reverb. These plus the gain control gives you a pretty wide palette to play with. It wasn't too long ago that these FX alone would have cost more than this amp. You can get as clean as you want or crank it to the max. It's just a very versatile box.

OVERALL OPINION

I bought this to play some light blues for an outdoor wedding, where A/C was not available. Jack in an MP3 and you're good to play along with tracks. Truly the most fun piece of gear I've gotten in a long time. I don't expect to get rid of it, and with Roland quality, that means it'll be with my gear for a long time. Street Musician? - Don't bother looking anywhere else.

- The sound, too cheap and that he called "cube street" while it is not powerful enough to use it in the street!

It is the only amp that works on batteries and has two channels, I use it for the guitar and singing

This is an amp that "spit good." For a street musician should know that it's just enough to play in the metro (without a great sound either) but largely not powerful enough to play in the collection's outdoor. I now directs me to the Alpha AER, even if it is heavier and more expensive (I prcise that I use to play in the metro).

If you are in need of a portable light gigging Pa system for a small coffee shop show then this is a perfect little amplifier for you. This thing has a very usable clean channel and a good rock tone. It is very light weight ans user friendly.

SOUNDS

Try this guitar with an acoustic and sing through the other channel and you'll be ready for a light gig or coffee shop. It takes batteries so before going out to the bar make sure you are prepared with full batteries.

It really doesn't matter which guitar you use with it because this little unit sounds pretty good in any guitar application. For nice clean then use a single coil guitar like a Fender Strat or a Tele. For the rock tones try a Les Paul or other humbucking style guitar.

OVERALL OPINION

At new these unit come in at around $270 which is a little on the high side for what it does. It is an amp and has 8 different amp models with 6 effects, but the price tag is a bit high for me with this amp.

I am a fan of the tone that you get out of it but to me the price it too high. The coolest feature which I'm guessing constitutes the expense is the two independent channels that can have two separate inputs for instrument and vocal mic. For PA purposes it is reasonable but if you just need a practice amp with all the effects then there are much better ones out there.
