I bought this, because I wanted a decent powered stereo mixer at a reasonable price. I got from Guitar Center for $299.00

I like the fact that you get 10 channels, 99 effects, 2x250 watt amps/500 watts bridged, I could go on, but there isn't enough room to list all of the features. It works very well with my acoustic and electric guitars... drums and keyboard. A word of caution... use good mic's... it doesn't like cheap ones.

I wish there were more than neutik outs on this unit. Don't get me wrong... neutrik is a damned fine connection, but I have tons of banana plugs and 1/4" plugs... so I was supposed to be stupid and buy freakin' overpriced neutrik cables. I didn't... I bought the neu…

I wish there were more than neutik outs on this unit. Don't get me wrong... neutrik is a damned fine connection, but I have tons of banana plugs and 1/4" plugs... so I was supposed to be stupid and buy freakin' overpriced neutrik cables. I didn't... I bought the neutrik connectors and put them on some old 1/4 cables... saved myself close to $85.00 that way. Some of the control knobs feel flimsy... as if I were to really turn one of them hard... it would just snap off in my hand. Some of the effects are just a waste of time. The vinylizer and space radio are moronic and some of the reverb effects are spongy sounding. If you use an inexpensive mic... you get feedback like crazy. You can use the pad and EQ to calm it down, but then you can't really hear the mic, so its useless with cheap ones.

It seems to be well built, with exception to my perception of the flimsy controls. It should hold up, as I am anally retentive when it comes to taking care of my gear.

You can't touch this powered mixer with anything else out there for the price. If you're in the market for a small P.A. on a budget... then this is the one to get.
