A switch to indoor (and therefore in order to remove a few screws accder) to switch the output level of 0 to 4 dB preamp. Some power amplifiers have a level of 0dB suprieur and are therefore not compatible with all preamp thanks Eden Electronics is not a problem!
Outside the switches for the land and the cit above, all are in rglages faade, which quickly go trudge into the cables once everything is mounted in a rack.

UTILIZATION

This preamp can be used both in a simple string (low -> preamp -> power amp -> speaker) in a string trs complex with several preamps and effects loops, and this thanks the armada of connectors on the back of the box of what delight the worst guitar geeks!
To get a good sound that is a pleasure, simply adjust the gain to find the sweet point (easy thanks to the LED light), turn the enhancer of 10-11 hours and adjust the master in consquence!
APRS, known for his relentless killer, it will take quite a while of the same number of hours of intensive research to find the limits of the EQ (good luck!). But if one has not noreilles mouths too, quickly found rglages perfect and it is mostly used with multiple units in a job that requires parallle (marriage of sound and DIFFERENT mixing signals).
Regarding the manual, it is the download on the site of Eden Electronics (http://www.eden-electronics.com/products/amps/indiv/wp100.asp), which is slightly I feel shame. Apart from a, it is clear plutt rponses brings all points that may seem a bit dark, plus a small "guide" to find the condition to understand his English.

SOUNDS

I use a Warwick Streamer LX gnralement 4 strings (microphones P / J Mec and electronic active 2-band) but this time, I also test with Sandberg Bullet 4-90s strings (micro J / J Bartolini 2-band active and electronic) and a MusicMan StingRay 5-string (MM Micro splitable and electronic active 3-band).
It's funny because I had to move the gain on the preamp, which ultimately is not a surprise that when you know Eden: the preamp is transparent and gives trs trs although the grain of the bass while keeping a nice roundness. In consquence: If you use a bass with a few characters, your sound will be similar (but even better when hh!)
Importantly, the lamp is unsaturated or nearly so, which excludes use for the hardcore, Punk On the other ct I play in a group of Electro / Post Rock / Metal, Funk one or both trip Dub (set to the fingers, or slap mdiator) and poses no problem, always ensures the WP100. I too test Jazz, Blues etc. but I trust him, this land will not result srement not be afraid!
Regarding the EQ, it works wonders and can really work on its bottom. Associated with the enhancer, it's madness: a neat and a modern copy! For my part, I love the big bass distinct, crystalline highs (not to the extent they saw "acid") and a gap in mdiums and high mdiums.

OVERALL OPINION

I owns and uses extensively the WP100 for a little over 6 months now. I too had the opportunity to try other preamps srieux before buying it, except the Bass Pod XT Line 6 I possdais I only use the simulation of Eden, as that my choice silent quick! In addition to a, have APRS tudi mrement connectivity opportunities and competitors, the silent WP100 only allow me to rig a complex couraging as I prparais .

The only point that I gnait, c'tait the fact of not being able to spit out the light Now I found a solution: I put a lamp continuous small gain for a clean super hot for a more alternative sound nag, I'll invest in a second preamp Ampeg SVP pro. That's the advantage of such a config from a head amp classic: you can switch between different sounds carefree diffrent well (but of course a cot aa).
Bought in Germany for just over 1000 euros, I am perfectly satisfied. The award is given as justification compltement the quality of design and manufacturing of the product, many brands should take a leaf.
If this purchase silent again, it would plutt twice that (and even if I find myself today compltement the dche) is the ultimate weapon for the low , in the studio or on scne.
