sequencer cv / gate (ie, no MIDI). 4 sequences of 150 or 600 notes each chained notes ... hence the reference CSQ 600 ...
absolutely awesome to use, totally extremely simple, it is "rec", you play the sequence on the keyboard, then "play" at the end, and here we go ... the same behavior as a magneto or a computer sequencer, but with an unmistakable groove, even when we do not express.
transposition has been reading by playing a note on the keyboard control. I do not even come on stage to improvise with this machine and it works nickel. too bad there have not more than memories, but here we are in 1980!
tr timings for 808, 909 and others.

UTILIZATION

config super simple, similar to a VCR, see above.

SOUNDS

neither velocity or aftertouch ... we are still and always in cv / gate and in 1980 :-)

OVERALL OPINION

I use the sequencer since 1981. initially, only the 100 was marketed csq but this one does not memorize the sequences to extinction so that the mine could be operated until a few months sometimes, so as not paumer my sequences (I know is lousy for the carbon on the planet!). the 600 problem is solved by having an internal battery that allows you to save clips to stop the bike. mistrust, however, after twenty years, acid battery has an annoying tendency to run on the circuits and cramer these, therefore to monitor and change from time to time (like all synths sequencers and internal memory).
Finally, a bit bulky to 4 sequences (+ / - 5 kg.), but in sequencer cv / gate, I still have not found anything better or easier now.
