I got this guitar from an individual not a store. I payed about 60 bucks for it, because it was used and because it wasn't in very good condition. The reason i bought it was because my squire strat was a huge piece of crap.

there are a few things i like about this guitar. 1, it was really cheap. 2 it has more sustain than my squire strat. The other is if you are hard on this instrument it doesn't really matter because it is fairly tough and you arn't loosing anything special if you trash it.


It doesn't stay in tune for more than a half an hour. It doesn't have very good sound and the pickups buzz so much it would make you wish you were deaf.


As i said before the construction is fairly good. The quality isnt bad for a guitar with a list price of about 170 bucks.

This isn't a bad deal for a first guitar, because you dont know if you'll stick with it, but if you already play dont waste you're money. Go for a real gibson. They're the best. I just bought an SG supreme a few day's ago and i love it.

UTILIZATION

The handle is correct, although the varnish hangs bocoup (even after a year of intensive use instead.)

access to the treble is rather pretty, very correct weight, stings a little nose like all the sg.

To get a good sound, do not even think, completely void electronics, micro sucks a shou, huge parasite and NO GROUND WIRE. the ground wire is connected to nowhere, it drags in the cavity of the guitar! .

SOUNDS

I play with a Vox Pathfinder amp, a Danelectro fuzz and wah / filter Berhinger. I manage to get a pleasant sound for my style (blues, funk, rock) but it not fly high. Against it by the road maintenance for many rhythmic rock (Scorpions, AC / DC ...)


OVERALL OPINION

I bought online, dja, but I had a lot of cheap guitar (among ELYPSE, xp and stagg) and were everything that the better. For the price to a much s'aurienter OCCAZ green or a squier, vintage or otherwise. Its only good cluck that she has a good style. If I had the choice again, I would take probably a sg junior for the same price that is much better
