Cardioid condenser. Opportunity to switch into hyper-cardio through a capsule provided, but not great because it's hard to sit still and I think it colors the sound. Can be used for just about everything, even on snare drums (he cash a lot)

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 2 years now in the studio in just about every possible configuration. Where I find most effective is the snare: it's terrible! He collects a lot, but to avoid the same with the stick of nag .

OVERALL OPINION

2 years since I use it. Mainly scenes not too noisy for acoustic guitar mode hypercardio. I'm happy, not really good sound response to acoustic feedback. Very nice medium grave clean. In-home studio, very nice and very clean on the voice, with its filter made for this small plastic ring that is clipped on the capsule. More Shure SM87 Likelihood that. In the studio, for acoustic guitar, between handle and rosette, it is really good. It is a micro-scale that takes its home studio because it accommodates an average sound, with an output level without very adequate and flagrant failure to reply. Again! Especially since I tested this in a professional studio we face a Neumann KM184:
the sound engineer was quite surprised of the result just like me! A larger share of
serious that the Neumann, the sound quality is near ... Qd I said they were not even
equivalent! But that price is not too far from one minutes of pure micro compete
it's worth it!

OVERALL OPINION

I have tested also with the NT3 is under the same conditions - say,
microphone placed 1m and 2m of an opera singer.

The AKG C1000S and NT3 are just the opposite but both have CHARACTERISTICS INTERESTED.

The NT3 is more sensitive and has a lot of gain, and promotes prsence serious dtriment treble sound and often aggressive. The AKG C1000S has a sound balance, treble and the bass keeps an exceptionally velvety timbre. With the new cap (PB1000) I got from my old company to the sensitivity MODEL brilliance and precision in the treble even more to go. It is a micro scrolls. It dtimbre less off-axis and the sound is cleaner than NT3 and be a little more used to different instruments.

The AKG C1000S is not too unlike NT3 dlicat position which is an important and rare asset trs. Also useful when there is a high sound pressure or high intensity sound.
