I Bought this amp at Hermes Music for $60. I was going to buy a Larger (more expensive) Dean amp until someone showed me this amp and told it would probably be the best sounding practice amp I've heard.

For a built in distortioner it sounds great. And is very simple to use. The clean tones don't sound bad either. It's Great for just playin with other guitars.

It's not quite loud enough to play with a drum set. The clean tones aren't near as loud as the distorted ones.

The quality is great. I Got as a Floor model and it still plays as if it were brand new.

It's a great amp for it's price and does fine when playing with other guitars but if you're trying to start a band this amp isn't quite powerful enough.

I bought this great amp new at guitar center for 80$ on sale, because my cheap danelectro dirty thiry amp crapped out on me.

I think this a perfect practice amp, and good for a small gig. I am 12 and have a great mexican fender ( not squire) stratocaster, and they are a perfect match! unlike my cheap danelectro this amp has great distortion that is easy to switch from clean like, a pedal, fat tone, incredible sound for its cheap price, great that you can rig up to youre stero for practice, you can use head phones for late night practices, light weigt, and great quality. This amp is great for almost every style of music! Its grea for 60's, and 70's licks ( great for zeppelin, hendrix, the doors, etc). 90's grunge, jazz, blues everything!!!!!!!

A couple things I didn't like about the marshall was that it should be a little cheaper because it is only a 10 watt and the 15 watt is around 60$ more. thats pretty much what I dislike about the amp, but I do admitt it could use a couple more touches, nuthhing big but still.

It's a pretty tughf amp it got a black what ever the hell matriel is made out of, good for its price, fake gole top where the knobs are, classic marshall mini cabnit look.

Its a great amp! cheap price for such a great amp, good beginers, or 2nd amp. great sound, great quality! I deffinetly suggest tryin out and then buyin the marshall mg10cd combo amp!

I paid nothing for this amp but i think it costs about £50-£70 (anything more than this and it's not worth it)

The amp is light(always good), its a legendary MARSHALL and its nice and easy to use with just 3 nobs (Gain ,treble and volume).

It dosn't have much punch (but what 10watt amps does) and can't handle gigs. The choices of sound are limited and it does buzz a bit.

It deffently has marshall quility and is worth the money in this aspect. It has an open back and is quite small. The power lead is far to short but most practice amps are like this so its no biggy! Its never had any problems and nothing has fallen off or broke


This amp is great for someone who is starting the guitar or someone who just wants a practice amp. It looks good (for an amp), plays well enough and has never failed me. All my mates amps are rubbish compared to this so go for this you cant go wrong.

The Marshall MG10 CD is a solid state amplifier made in the 1990s. It has 25 watts of power going into 8 ohms. It has a 1/4 input in the front for your instrument. The parameters are pretty basic as it has EQ settings, gain setting, and volume. It also has preset buttons for different strange, that have pictures of various things - like birds, and mushroom clouds or something like that...pretty strange.


UTILIZATION

The configuration is easy to follow and it is easy to figure out what everything does on this amp. While it is easy to manipulate the parameters, I wouldn't say it is easy to get a good sound out of this, as I really don't like the overall tone of this amp. I don't have the manual, so I can't speak to if it is helpful or not.


SOUNDS

I'm not a fan of this amplifier because I don't like the sound of it. For my taste, it is way too tinny and has no girth. It seems to me that during the 90's, Fender kind of dropped the ball with some of their solid state amps. While this is certainly a low end model, I was hoping I would at least be able to get a usable sound from it in terms of its distortion, but really have not been able to. The clean sound is okay, but nothing to brag about. It has four preset buttons, with strange pictures...this part of the amp kind of boggles my mind.


OVERALL OPINION

I've had my Marshall MG10 CD for a few years and have come to only use it when I have to, and use it with the clean signal only. It is a usable amp, but not great sounding by any means. Fender makes great amps and guitars, but this is one of the worst sounding marshall amps I have used. While it is cheap, to me its not worth the price as you can find better sounding Fender amps for the same price - basically anything with tubes. Overall, one of the poorer Fender made amplifiers.

10W marshall amp transistor. two channels (clean / overdrive) with volume control for each. gain for channel od. knob a "contour" which allows DCID color of his sound (most prcisemment it comes to work or digging medium). system is a way to reproduce the warmth of an amp lamp ... no real legalization, no reverb, even for its price it's a shame.

UTILIZATION

Config trs simple. the manual gives examples of some rglage sweeping all styles.

SOUNDS

So is the fort! he was in the trunk the small bte! it incredible power for ten Watt.le his drive is hot channel goes from very slight crunch heavy artillery: it is bold wish! tone control (a miracle, this knob!) can scan just about every style! very complete. namoins od channel on the east is more than the distortion overdrive, m'enfin matter of taste .. The clean channel is not so clear that a: he "basically" the channel CHARACTERISTICS "clean" brand: not crystal-clear (fender lover on your way) and messing with the increase volume.

OVERALL OPINION

For some months I have not had a pleindre me! I had the opportunity to test the 10W Ibanez (not powerful cold) and Fender frontman 15W quesition and frankly it's incomparable power and character! Overdriver safe it really impressive! recess is the most expensive for power amplifiers quesiton but apart from this is the best I could find. If I had my choice again? did you really need to ask

You t'allumes branches you turn you play. Should not be cons for y'arriver (DSOL for idiots, amen)

Note the breath and wheezing important high-volume (from my guitar?), But hey he was asked not to follow our national Johnny Stade de France (although it would mchant for the amp to make him spit Johnny's, gniark gniark!)

Torn !!!!! THAT QUEST'CE CA Damn the crunch of the little racing car and a monster! C'tait my first amp and since I have my big dlaiss 150W modlisation before and frankly must have shit in your ears! For punk, blues NICKEL!! And the contour brings rgalge vraimpent a little more. Well my guitar is a Yamaha EG-112, and well above sounds good! The clean is good but I prfre qd numrique same formulation of a fender with a crunch against analog c biiiiiiiieeeeeeeennnnnnnn !!!!!!!!!!!!! Fat as I love, yum, what is the marshall!

OVERALL OPINION

Good for RPTS is dead! To register the rigor and play ds his room is impeccable. Not rely, it does more than 10W and I russi to yell my neighbors (note that you must be dumb to not like the guitar). I took a LINE 6 SPIDER II 212 amp main, not the same philosophy. Before I dtest piti my marshall and well I feel that the next rpt, even if you hear me, I take it!!
Qualitprix report is correct, because a little pricey, but the distortion is frankly terrible (antisocial Trust is enjoyable on it).
I do not know if I do it again this choice for a little more we can have a brand of lamp 15/20W OCCAZ, MDIT.
Good amp for beginners and even guts to APRS.

UTILIZATION

The config is simple you archie apuit up a button and there you are on overdrive, and in addition the manual gives you info for the distortion. That's great members excelling.

SOUNDS

That suits me because I play pretty rock, pop and all the metal.
I use a godin detour doule pick up two and a distortion pedal digitech death metal.
And those of I is coming I think that when you open the sound scratchy and more with one pedal all scratchy and you nentend nothing.
The clean rglage gives us good sound and good ASEZ overdrive it gives us a very good sound but with little regalge (jou is still a member) but the sound is good.
Moi jaime well as its two tipe Lampl gives us bein that it is not specific enough.

OVERALL OPINION

I have been using my guitar as jai about a year
I love its power, but as I lai said when the sound is too loud his scratchy
Not cétait my first amp because I had the time to commensais
RAPORT The quality is pretty good price.
Well no because I am no longer a beginner and this amp I consille to those who want s'innicier electric guitar.

Transistor amplifier of 10 watts, it possde 2 channels (clean and overdrive). There is a CONTRL volume for each channel + 1 CONTRL gain and an outline.

UTILIZATION

The configuration is very simple not need manual. Dlivre power is perfect for practicing in his room.

SOUNDS

I use this amp with a Ltd F-50, I play mainly mtal but also some songs in his clean (the amp is quite versatile).

The sound is clean but I also do not use Souvant.

I dj possde a Line 6 Spider II 15 watts and I must say I t enough imprssion the overdrive channel of Marshall, I think, is better quality than the channel mtal about 6 per line.

This small marshall put me mouth water, I intend to take a stronger future hhh.

I use it for one week is a good exprience. I think it's a good quality price.
If c'tait again, I'll have a marshall but more powerful hh.

Good product for beginners, cheap to transport and I have the years and I still use the

UTILIZATION

Nothing is easier to use, not need the manual. A 3-band EQ would have been welcome. Trrrès sounds are easy to find as there is a level adjustment mediums.

SOUNDS

It is suitable for all styles. I use it with my epiphone sg. The clean is not too bad. With the tone at max volume and pushing it can be done cruncher. It's not great but it will be suitable for apprentices bluesmen. ^ ^ It's still useful because in overdrive, the large distortion happens quickly, so be gentle on the gain. You can have are rock with high tone and metal sounds not too bad otherwise.
10 watt is good for the room, or repeat limit if your group is not violent. ^ ^ In fact, I explain to the noobs, this is not the power fail, but the sound is ugly high volume and small hp only broadcast in one direction.
To play in distortion, I usually just drop the tone of my guitar, the sound of the amp with a lot of treble.
The strength of this amp, its just the sound clear, the overdrive is quite dirty and noisy.

OVERALL OPINION

I have this amp since I started scratching the power, that is, as I write this test for two years. It's been several months since I used more than travel amp.
I like it for its small size and robustness.
I did not try before you buy it because I did not know anything yet in her, and I trusted the reviews.
The MG10 has a good value for money, although he lost heavily against the Beringher AC108.
I do not have that choice would do with experience, because for a few dollars more, you can have a much better amp!

2 years since I played with, in fact I installed the chassis in a 10-inch box that sounds serious.
I took the 2 15w (cdr and dfx) and small 10w is the one that sounds the best, least trafficked into the sound.
Normally, there almost nothing on the way!

The output line out is great, because independent (do not cut the hp) and offset, thanks to it I use the mg10 in Triphonie (dry in the middle, and with delay / reverb via line out on two active boxes on each side) and you really have to experience it as well.

The amp accepts any driver hp 8 ohm minimum, even a 4x12!

UTILIZATION

Ben, clean volume and volume / gain, contour and overall ...

SOUNDS

It is very pleasant, honest and direct and well in rough drive. Transparent enough, especially compared to a spider or cube or vox Modeling.
Given the lack of eq, you have to play with a big hp external and there is rather amazing!

The clean does not win to be pushed to cruncher of course, and as the drive is so I would say it mg10 (like 15) do not allow the normal blues. Clean sound is pretty too but just not right so we can work without too much despair.

The drive is well balanced and spanned rock without (headroom spent an hour being adapted to micro weaklings). I love that sound, rhythm that suits both in solo and like any marshall super reacts to the volume of the guitar to brighten the sound.

I let the contour between mini and 9 hours in my config.

The sound in the beginning, in its box with a small hp 6 inches (not the original one that was lame), is quite nice and straight, and sounds less boiboite microcube or a DA5. In this case the contour opens her well, I put more towards 12:00 to 1:00. Few serious of course, a DA5 has more as it is, but to work mg10 this is nice, we hear very well what we did, and the clean sound is softer than on my external box. Like what ...

OVERALL OPINION

It is the cleanest amp for 7 string at home, not a sinecure in the apartment '...

Very useful thanks to its line out, especially since it sounds good on sound and more.
Attention it leaves the mic level, so low impedance / level, effect adjustable input needed here.

If you are a bit handy, have a box available and a good offer on mg go ahead it's amazing.

If nothing z'avez cons nor the inclination to put their hands in the dough, take a Vox DA5 is really well as a small amp, the Marshall is too expensive for what it offers in comparison.
